Beloved of All
Thank you all for the prayers to get to K.C. safely. Reached destination after 22 hours. I just now gained access to a network and I am posting this first. I will send a more specific praise out later, but I just wanted you to know I reached the destination. I am still getting organized, had the driving equivalent of jetlag! Thank you in Jesus' Name.
Please continue to ask "the good hand of my God be upon me" (Neh 2:8) as I embark on an eighteen hour drive to Missouri. Please ask the Lord to bless me with His presence, attentiveness, and the enjoyment and pleasure of quiet driving: "righteousness, peace & joy in the Holy Spirit" (Romans 14:17).
I ask for the fruit of the Spirit, wisdom, discernment and specific grace to not miss any turns or get lost: May I read maps well and may the Lord be my GPS. I ask to be lead not into temptation, but delivered from the evil one (Matt 6:13; John 17:15).
I want to thank God for all who prayed: car passed inspection and is legal and running very well. Goes down the road straight and is relatively quiet for its age.
"Then I proclaimed a fast there... that we might humble ourselves before our God to seek from Him a safe journey for us, our little ones, and all our possessions. So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our entreaty." (Ezra 8:21 & 23).
Thank you in Jesus' Name.
