We hear your heart in this request and we join with you in prayer together in Jesus' name. We understand you are thanking God that your TV is working and your remote is working normally, and you are longing for normalcy and stability in your daily life. We also hear your deep desire for peace for yourself, your family and even your pets, and a longing to be safe and far away from people who have caused you hurt and distress, even to the point of wanting to move secretly to a distant place.
We give thanks with you for the simple blessings of daily life, for even these small things come from the Father's hand. We are reminded In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18. It is good to be grateful for what God has provided, and we praise Him that your needs for rest and normalcy are being met. At the same time we want to gently encourage you about the way we approach God in prayer. Scripture teaches us that it is God who speaks life into existence, not us. We do not command or declare things into being by our own words, but we humbly ask according to His will. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, 1 John 5:14. And Jesus taught us to pray Your will be done, Matthew 6:10, trusting that His will is far better than even a hundredfold increase we might imagine for ourselves. Our calling is to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33.
We also hear your pain regarding people you describe as sociopaths in this country and your desire to flee and live in secret. We understand the weariness that comes from feeling surrounded by hurtful people, and we pray for your protection and peace. Yet we want to encourage you not to live in fear or hatred, but to entrust yourself to the Lord wherever He places you. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men, Romans 12:18. And we are called to love even those who have wronged us and to cast all our anxieties on Him. Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. The Lord is our true refuge, not a location. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1. Whether we remain where we are or the Lord leads us to move, we can trust that A man's steps are established by Yahweh, He delights in his way, Psalm 37:23. For we know the plans that God has for us, plans for peace and not for evil, to give us hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. If God does will for you to relocate, we pray He would do so openly and wisely and provide clearly, not out of fear but out of His guidance.
You mentioned the blood of Jesus, and we rejoice that you recognize its power. The blood of Jesus is not a phrase to claim material comforts, but the precious means by which we are forgiven and saved from sin. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness, Hebrews 9:22, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we have access to God. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. We cling to that truth and pray you are resting fully in Him for eternal life and daily peace.
We also lift up your family and your pets before the Lord. He cares for all His creation and He sees your love for them. A righteous man respects the life of his animal, Proverbs 12:10, and how much more does He care for your household.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We thank You for providing for daily needs and for the simple grace of normalcy in our homes. We ask that You would grant our friend continued peace and stability, and that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus with a peace that surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7. Lord, calm any anxiety and help them to learn contentment in You, for we have learned in whatever state we are, to be content, Philippians 4:11.
Lord, we ask for Your wisdom regarding the desire to move. If it is Your will for them to stay, give them safety and favor where they are and help them to be a light in a difficult place. If it is Your will for them to go, open the doors clearly, provide the means, and lead them to a place of safety and rest. Protect them and their family and their beloved pets from harm, and let no fear drive their decisions but Your perfect love which casts out fear, 1 John 4:18. Heal any bitterness toward those who have caused pain, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to trust You as their defender. May they know that their help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth, Psalm 121:2.
We thank You for the blood of Jesus shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, and we pray that our friend walks in the full assurance of salvation and the joy of being Yours. Draw them closer to You each day, and let their life be centered on Your will, not on escape, but on Your purpose and hope. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
