Today's Encouraging Words
1 Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble. 2 The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. 3 The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness. (Psalm 41:1-3)
Psalm 41:1 says… “Blessed is he who considers the poor”. There are many people around us who are poor - in love, in hope, and in the knowledge of God. Even though we may not be able to solve all their problems, what we can do is show them that we care.
We may not have a bunch of money, but we can give of ourselves. We can let them know that we're thinking of them… we can listen as they tell their stories… we can treat them with courtesy and respect… we can pray for them… we can give them encouragement… we can tell them about Jesus. And last but not least we can show them love, just like God does for us everyday.
If you’re always trying to get ahead and looking for the next thing to make you happy, think again! Step back and compare yourself with people who give themselves to others and ask yourself, which ones possess inner calm, strength, and joy? You might be surprised at the answer!
Remember, God's message can make a difference in the life of someone you may not even know!
“Trust In Him”
Giving yourself to others is a true measure of how well you Love yourself!
Have A Great God Day!
