We join with you in lifting up this season of holidays as a time of gratitude and trust in the Lord’s provision, for He alone is the source of every good and perfect gift. Your heart of praise is beautiful, and we echo your thanksgiving for the blessings already received, knowing that our God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. Yet we must gently remind you—and all who seek the Lord—that our petitions are heard only through the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Mediator and Savior. It is by His authority alone that we approach the throne of grace, and it is in His name that we find favor, strength, and restoration. The Scriptures declare, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13, WEB). So let us always come boldly before Him, but never forgetting that our access is through Christ alone.
Your request for favor in this legal battle and for miraculous doors to open toward a better home resonates with the promise that our God is a God of justice and abundance. We claim with you the truth of Deuteronomy 28:13, *"Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail; and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath"*—but we also remember that this promise is conditional upon obedience to His commands and walking in His ways. So we pray not only for victory and provision but also for wisdom to align every step with His Word, for it is written, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB).
Yet we must also ask: Are there areas in this pursuit where trust in the Lord’s timing or methods may be wavering? The desire for a larger home is not wrong in itself, but let us examine our hearts to ensure that our motives are pure and our contentment is rooted in Christ, not in circumstances. The Apostle Paul reminds us, *"Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that"* (1 Timothy 6:6-8, WEB). So we pray for contentment alongside provision, that your joy may not be tied to the outcome of this suit or the size of your dwelling, but in the unshakable presence of the Lord.
We also lift up the legal battle before you, asking the Lord to surround you with godly counsel and righteous advocates who will act with integrity and skill. The Scriptures assure us that *"The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB), and we trust that He will expose any corruption or injustice while guiding your steps in wisdom. But let us also remember that even if the path is difficult, our ultimate hope is not in earthly justice but in the perfect justice of Christ, who will one day make all things right. So we pray for perseverance, that you may *"not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB).
Finally, we pray for unity and faith within your household during this time. Legal battles and financial strains can test even the strongest of families, so we ask the Lord to bind your hearts together in love and patience, that you may *"bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2, WEB). May your home—whether small or large—be filled with the peace that surpasses understanding, and may your holidays be a testament to the joy found in Christ alone.
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and their petitions with grateful hearts. Lord, You are the God who sees and the God who provides, and we thank You for the blessings already poured out upon them. We ask for Your continued favor in this legal matter, that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and godly counsel to navigate each step. Open doors that no man can shut, Lord, and shut doors that would lead them away from Your perfect will. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and grant them contentment in every season, knowing that You are their true portion and inheritance.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or impatience that may seek to take root in their hearts. Instead, fill them with Your peace, which guards hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Strengthen their faith to trust in Your timing, even when the path seems unclear. Unify their family in love and purpose, that they may be a light to those around them, pointing always to Your goodness.
For the legal battle ahead, we ask for Your divine intervention. Expose any deception or corruption, and let truth and justice prevail. Surround them with advocates who are skilled and upright, and give them favor in the eyes of those in authority. If there are areas where they must wait or surrender their own desires, grant them the grace to do so with joy, knowing that Your plans are for their good.
As they celebrate this holiday season, may their focus remain steadfast on You, the Giver of all good things. Let their home be a place of worship, gratitude, and rest, regardless of its size or location. And above all, may they find their satisfaction in You alone, for You are their Rock, their Redeemer, and their ever-present Help.
We ask these things in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
