Thank you for sharing your heart and bringing these needs before the Lord. It is right to bring your daughter, her children, and your whole family to Him in prayer, for He cares deeply about every practical need and every broken place in the home.
We join you in asking the Lord to provide for your daughter in a real and sustaining way. Scripture shows that God has always made provision for those in need, not simply as a handout but by opening a way to work with dignity and to be supported through honest labor. Just as He provided for Ruth as she worked in the fields and was watched over by a kinsman redeemer who covered and protected her, we pray that God would open a good and suitable job for your daughter, one that enables her to pay her rent and to care faithfully for her children. May the Lord guide her steps to that provision and give her strength and wisdom for each day.
We also pray for the healing of your family. The Lord knows what it is to see a family strained and scattered, and His heart is to restore and to be present with His people. When Jacob was called to return to the land of his family, God gave him the promise, I will be with you and I will deal well with you. That same faithful presence is offered to you today. God is merciful, even when families have been hurt by living in difficult surroundings or by past choices, as Lot and his household experienced. In His mercy He still reaches to lead and to rescue. He is also the One who heals, as Jesus showed when He responded to a desperate father whose daughter was at the point of death and to a suffering woman who reached out in faith and felt healing in her body. He has power over sickness, over sin which is the incurable malady of the soul, and over the wounds that divide families.
We ask the Lord to do that healing work among you, to soften hearts, to forgive what needs forgiving, and to teach you to love one another as He has loved you. That love is not merely a feeling but a daily choice to be kind in the face of adversity, to respond with patience and grace, and to seek the good of one another. As Ruth showed in her faithful commitment to her mother in law, saying wherever you go I will go and your people shall be my people, so may God create a beautiful and lasting bond of loyalty and affection within your family again.
