We lift you and your daughter before the Lord, thanking Him that you have called upon the name of Jesus in faith, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. *"In no one else is there salvation, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayer reveals a heart that seeks His presence, and we rejoice that you have invited Jesus to take the wheel of your life—this is the beginning of true surrender and trust in Him.
Yet as we pray, we must address something with love and urgency. Your request repeatedly uses a symbol (#) in place of a word, and while we understand the sensitivity of certain situations, we encourage you to speak plainly before the Lord, for He already knows the depths of your heart. *"Like as a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust."* (Psalm 103:13-14, WEB). If there is fear, pain, or a relationship in your life that is not aligned with God’s Word, we urge you to bring it into the light, for secrecy can be a stronghold of the enemy. *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."* (Ephesians 5:11, WEB).
We notice your prayer speaks of protecting your relationship with someone you refer to as "my ###," asking that nothing would separate you. Beloved, we must ask with gentleness but firmness: is this relationship one that honors God? If this is a romantic relationship outside of a biblically ordained marriage between a man and a woman, we must lovingly but clearly say that such a union is not God’s design. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom."* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). If this relationship involves fornication, cohabitation, or any form of immorality, we plead with you to repent and turn away from it, for your soul’s sake and for the sake of your daughter. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB).
If this is a marriage, we pray for restoration, unity, and godly love to abound. But if it is not, we urge you to seek the Lord’s will for a relationship that aligns with Scripture—one where a man and woman commit to marriage under God, raising children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain."* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Your daughter deserves to see a mother who walks in obedience to Christ, and you deserve the blessings that come from living within His perfect plan.
If there is deception or manipulation in this relationship, as your prayer suggests ("let his lies be revealed"), we rebuked any spirit of deceit and ask the Lord to expose the truth in Jesus’ name. *"The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."* (Psalm 145:18, WEB). No relationship built on lies can stand, but the Lord delights in redeeming those who turn to Him in honesty and repentance.
We also pray for your safety and wisdom, that the Lord would surround you and your daughter with His angels, as you have asked. *"He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways."* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). May He grant you discernment to recognize those He sends into your life and to avoid those who would lead you astray. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her daughter. Lord, You see the depths of her heart, the fears she carries, and the desires she holds. We ask that You would surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Father, if there is any relationship in her life that does not align with Your Word, we ask that You would convict her by Your Holy Spirit. Give her the strength to walk away from anything that dishonors You, even if it is painful. Lord, redeem her story and show her the beauty of a life fully surrendered to You. If she is in a marriage, heal and restore it according to Your will. If she is single, prepare her for a godly marriage if it is Your plan, and let her find contentment in You alone in this season.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, deception, or control that may be at work in her life. Expose every lie of the enemy, Lord, and let Your truth prevail. *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Protect her and her daughter from all harm, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh."* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Lord, guide her steps and her decisions. Open her eyes to see the path You have for her, and close every door that is not of You. Send godly people into her life—those who will encourage her in faith and hold her accountable to Your Word. *"The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand."* (Psalm 37:23-24, WEB).
Father, we thank You that she has invited Jesus to take the wheel of her life. May this be more than words—may it be a daily surrender, a moment-by-moment trust in You. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in wisdom, love, and power. *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."* (Acts 1:8, WEB).
We declare Your blessings over her—love, joy, peace, grace, productivity, and prosperity that comes from You alone. Let her life and the life of her daughter be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Beloved sister, we encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in faith and find support from other believers. If you are struggling with any sin or relationship that contradicts Scripture, repent and turn to Jesus—He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). You are not alone in this; the body of Christ is here to walk with you in truth and love.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Stay strong in the faith, and trust that God’s plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We are praying for you!
