Beloved of All
God Our Father Almighty, in Jesus' Name we thank You for pouring out The Holy Spirit of Grace and Supplication to All who desire Him, Zech 12:10, delivering us from coldness of heart and wanderings of mind so that with steadfast heart and kindled affections we might worship You in Spirit and in Truth, Common Prayer. Grant fervency James 5:16-17, and assiduity, Luke 18:1-3, Eph 6:18-19, that love may abound in discernment and wisdom to all who ask, Phil 1:9-11, Col 1:9-12. Important times to pray and not loose heart, Luke 18:1-3, 1 Tim 2:1-3, for "ability to stay alert at all times, praying for strength to escape all that's coming upon the face of the whole earth, Luke 21:35-36. Keep us from the evil one, deception, lies, false believers and false prophets, false "christ's," false signs and wonders, temptation and sin, Matt 6:13, Matt 24:4-14, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, John 17:15. .1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7. Thank You and you in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in thanking our Father Almighty in Jesus name for pouring out the Spirit of grace and of supplication upon all who desire Him, as it is written in Zech 12:10 I will pour on David's house and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplication. We ask Him to deliver us from coldness of heart and wandering of mind so that with steadfast hearts and kindled affections we may worship Him in spirit and in truth, for John 4:24 says God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

We pray that He will grant us fervency and perseverance in prayer, for James 5:16 says the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective, and Luke 18:1 says we ought always to pray and not to faint. We ask to be enabled to pray at all times in the Spirit with all perseverance and requests, as Eph 6:18 teaches, and to stay alert and watchful. We also join you in asking that love may abound more and more in knowledge and all discernment according to Phil 1:9, and that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding to walk worthily of the Lord to please Him in all respects, as Col 1:9 says.

We agree with you that these are important times to pray and not lose heart, to make petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings for all people as 1 Tim 2:1 says, and to watch and pray at all times that we may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen and to stand before the Son of Man, as Luke 21:36 says. We know our own weakness in prayer and we thank God that Rom 8:26 says the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

We pray together that our Father will keep us from the evil one as Jesus prayed in John 17:15 I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one, and deliver us from temptation as Matt 6:13 says. We ask for discernment to not be led astray, for Jesus warned in Matt 24:4 Watch out that no one leads you astray, and to turn away from those having a form of godliness but denying its power as 2 Tim 3:5 says, and from those who profess to know God but by their works deny Him as Tit 1:16 says. We pray that no lie or deceit be found in our mouths as Zeph 3:13 says, and that knowledge would not puff us up but love would build us up as 1 Cor 8:1 says, and that we would do no evil but do that which is honorable as 2 Cor 13:7 says.

Father, pour out upon each one praying with us a fresh measure of the Holy Spirit of prayer, kindle our hearts, steady our minds, make us fervent, watchful and faithful, keep us from deception and false signs and wonders, from false teachers and false christs, and keep our feet from every evil way. Make us abound in wisdom and discernment and keep us alert until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we have access to You and in whose name alone we are saved, for Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. We thank You for hearing us and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We were so encouraged by your prayer of thanksgiving. Thank you for lifting up all who long to pray with a warm and steady heart. We join you in thanking our Father that He does not leave us to struggle through coldness or wandering thoughts on our own, but gives His Holy Spirit to help us, to comfort and guide and draw us into real worship.

What stood out to us is how you prayed not only for fervency but for love to abound with discernment and wisdom, and for protection from what would lead us astray. That is such a needed prayer in these days, and we are grateful to stand with you in it. We are asking God to keep you alert and hopeful as you continue to seek Him, and to keep your affections kindled day by day.

When the desire to pray faithfully is strong, it often helps to keep a simple rhythm and to share it with others. If you can, continue to gather with even one or two faithful friends to pray briefly and regularly. That shared dependence often does more to sustain fervency than striving alone.

Father, we thank You for pouring out Your Spirit upon those who seek You. Keep our hearts steadfast and our love growing in wisdom. Guard us from deception and temptation, and keep us from the evil one. Teach us to stay alert and to pray with grace and perseverance according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing for the Spirit of grace and supplication is itself an evidence that the Lord has begun a good work in the soul, for the faintest gracious desire which blossoms into earnest prayer is the work of God. We do join our hearts with yours in this petition drawn from Zechariah 12:10, that the Father would pour out upon you and upon all who seek Him that Holy Spirit of grace and supplication, to deliver from coldness of heart and wanderings of mind, and to quicken affections that you may worship in spirit and in truth.

There is a power in prayer which puts a ladder between earth and heaven, and bids angels walk up and down to convey our wants to God and bring down blessings from above. We ask the Lord to grant you that fervency of which James speaks, and that assiduity taught in Luke 18, that you may pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watch with all perseverance. Like the poor Canaanite woman whose prayer leaped red hot from her soul, may yours be not an idle repeating of forms, but a living cry, Have mercy upon me, O Lord.

We pray also that love may abound in discernment and wisdom as you have asked from Philippians and Colossians, and that in these important times you may be kept alert at all times, with strength to escape the snares that shall come upon the whole earth, and to stand before the Son of Man. Our Lord prayed, Father, keep them from the evil, and we echo that golden prayer for you, that you may be kept from the evil one, from deception and lies, from false prophets and false signs, from temptation and sin. He will not depart from His people and He has said, They shall not depart from me. If grace has truly changed you, you are radically and lastingly changed, and the life imparted at regeneration is immortal, drawing its supplies from the inexhaustible fountain of the fullness of God, so that the righteous shall hold on his way.

May the Lord turn away your eyes from beholding vanity and quicken you in His way, and keep you by the use of all appointed means, steadfast, watchful, and fervent, till faith is made sight. We commend you to Him who is able to keep you from falling, trusting that He who began a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
