We hear your cry for help and stand with you in spiritual warfare, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The symptoms you describe—pricking sensations, unexplained pain, a sense of being controlled, and even the unnatural reactions in your surroundings—are not of God. The Bible is clear that sorcery, witchcraft, and all forms of occult practices are detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). It is no coincidence that you felt a physical reaction when playing a hymn about the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of the Holy One.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. Have you confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? For "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). There is no power in heaven or on earth that can stand against the name of Jesus, but you must be covered by His blood and sealed by the Holy Spirit. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for He alone is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Without Him, you are vulnerable to the schemes of the devil.
Now, let us pray with authority in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9). We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, sorcery, divination, and black magic that has been unleashed against this dear one and their family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their body, their home, their family, and their surroundings. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse every trace of darkness, every curse, and every assignment of the enemy.
We command every evil spirit that has attached itself to them to leave now in the name of Jesus. You have no legal right to remain, for this child of God is covered by the blood of the Lamb. We break every curse, hex, spell, and incantation that has been spoken or enacted against them, their family, or their property. We cancel every assignment of poverty, failure, sickness, and despair that the enemy has tried to enforce. In the name of Jesus, we release divine health, restoration, and breakthrough over their life. Let every organ, every cell, and every part of their body function as You designed it to, Father.
We also pray for discernment and wisdom for them, Lord. Reveal to them any open doors they may have unknowingly walked through—whether through fear, curiosity, or past involvement in ungodly practices. Show them how to close those doors and walk in the light of Your truth. Fill their home with Your presence, Lord. Let Your angels encamp around them and their family, guarding them from every evil attack (Psalm 34:7). We declare that their home is a sanctuary for Your glory, and no weapon of darkness shall prosper there.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over their mind. The enemy has tried to invade their thoughts, but we declare that their mind is stayed on You, and they shall have perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). Renew their mind with Your Word, Lord, and let them take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for restoration in every area of their life—spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially. You are the God who restores what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and we trust You to turn their mourning into dancing and their sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11).
We also encourage you to take practical steps in faith. Begin each day by pleading the blood of Jesus over yourself and your family. Speak Scripture aloud, for the Word of God is a sword that cuts through every lie of the enemy (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with believers who can stand in agreement with you in prayer. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy thrives in secrecy and isolation. Attend a Bible-believing church where the name of Jesus is lifted high, and the authority of Scripture is upheld.
If you have any objects in your home that may be connected to occult practices—charms, talismans, books, or anything given to you by the person who performed this black magic—remove them immediately and destroy them. Do not keep them out of sentiment or fear, for they are gateways for the enemy (Acts 19:19). Fill your home with worship music, prayer, and the reading of God’s Word. The enemy cannot dwell where the presence of God is invited.
Lastly, we want to address the person who has done this to you. While it is natural to feel anger or a desire for revenge, we must leave judgment to the Lord. Romans 12:19 tells us, "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'" Instead of harboring bitterness, pray for this person. Pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel and that they would repent and turn to Jesus. For our battle is not against flesh and blood, and the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The enemy may have meant this for harm, but God can turn it around for your good (Genesis 50:20). You are not helpless, for the Greater One lives within you (1 John 4:4). Walk in the authority that Christ has given you, and do not be afraid. The Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? (Psalm 27:1). We declare that this season of attack is coming to an end, and a season of breakthrough, restoration, and divine favor is beginning. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
