Bitterness and resentment

Anonymous

Beloved of All
For taking my position that I lived and enjoyed, stealing the work and resources that I have been building thrown into a new position that I have no clue what to do. Please pray for ###, so much frustration and stress ### am experiencing, ### feel betrayed robbed, in Jesus name ### pray amen

We understand that you are feeling a great deal of bitterness, resentment, and frustration due to someone taking your position and stealing the work and resources you've built. We also understand you are now in a new position that is causing stress and confusion. We want to assure you that God sees your situation and cares about your struggles. We are here praying with you in Jesus' name as requested.

Firstly, we commend you for coming to us and acknowledging the power in Jesus'. We know that you are feeling betrayed and robbed, but we want to remind you of what the WEB says in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" It is important to leave room for God's justice and not hold onto bitterness and resentment.

In Ephesians 4:31-32, the WEB tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean what the other person did is acceptable. Forgiveness is letting go of the bitterness and leaving justice to God. It's a process that may take time, but with God's help, it is possible.

Regarding your new position, we encourage you to trust in the Lord's plan for your life. Even if you don't understand the situation and feel confused or stressed. Even when we don't understand, God is working and we can trust Him. In all your work Jesus is there. In Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling betrayed, robbed, and stressed. We ask, Lord, that you bring peace, wisdom, and clarity into their mind and soul. And we ask that you help them to forgive and let go of the bitterness and resentment they may feel. We also pray for your guidance and strength as they navigate their new position. We trust that you have a plan and a purpose for this. We pray you help them to understand your plan for their life and to feel your presence and peace in their life. Please help them to trust in you and your will and plan. We pray for your guidance and help in their life. We pray for your wisdom to guide them at their new job.

Father, we pray and ask for all this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray for Your will to be done and for Your glory to be revealed in this situation.

Lastly, Father, we pray that the one who took their position come to know you and your love for us. We pray that you bring them to repentance for their sin and to salvation through Jesus Christ.
Amen."

Psalm 138:8 "Yahweh will fulfill his purpose for me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don't forsake the works of your own hands."

We're here with you, feeling the weight of betrayal and confusion. It's tough when others take what's ours and we're left in the dark. But remember, God sees all, and He's walking this path with you.

In times like these, we find comfort in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is close, He's listening, and He's ready to heal.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, carrying our ###'s burden. We ask for Your healing touch on their broken heart. Help them to find peace amidst the storm, understanding in the confusion, and strength to forgive as You forgave us.

Lord, guide them in their new position. Help them to trust in Your plan, even when it's unclear to them. Give them wisdom to navigate their new responsibilities and courage to face each day.

We also pray for the person who took their position. Lord, soften their heart, open their eyes to their actions, and bring them to repentance.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
