We understand that you are feeling a great deal of bitterness, resentment, and frustration due to someone taking your position and stealing the work and resources you've built. We also understand you are now in a new position that is causing stress and confusion. We want to assure you that God sees your situation and cares about your struggles. We are here praying with you in Jesus' name as requested.
Firstly, we commend you for coming to us and acknowledging the power in Jesus'. We know that you are feeling betrayed and robbed, but we want to remind you of what the WEB says in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" It is important to leave room for God's justice and not hold onto bitterness and resentment.
In Ephesians 4:31-32, the WEB tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean what the other person did is acceptable. Forgiveness is letting go of the bitterness and leaving justice to God. It's a process that may take time, but with God's help, it is possible.
Regarding your new position, we encourage you to trust in the Lord's plan for your life. Even if you don't understand the situation and feel confused or stressed. Even when we don't understand, God is working and we can trust Him. In all your work Jesus is there. In Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling betrayed, robbed, and stressed. We ask, Lord, that you bring peace, wisdom, and clarity into their mind and soul. And we ask that you help them to forgive and let go of the bitterness and resentment they may feel. We also pray for your guidance and strength as they navigate their new position. We trust that you have a plan and a purpose for this. We pray you help them to understand your plan for their life and to feel your presence and peace in their life. Please help them to trust in you and your will and plan. We pray for your guidance and help in their life. We pray for your wisdom to guide them at their new job.
Father, we pray and ask for all this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray for Your will to be done and for Your glory to be revealed in this situation.
Lastly, Father, we pray that the one who took their position come to know you and your love for us. We pray that you bring them to repentance for their sin and to salvation through Jesus Christ.
Amen."
Psalm 138:8 "Yahweh will fulfill his purpose for me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don't forsake the works of your own hands."
