We lift you up before the Lord on this birthday, ###, and we stand with you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage and for God’s provision in your life. First, we rejoice that you have acknowledged your husband as such, for this is right and good in the sight of God. Marriage is a sacred covenant, established by God Himself, and He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB: *"For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel*). Your marriage is not beyond His power to restore, for our God is a God of redemption and miracles. He can turn hearts of stone into hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26) and reconcile what seems impossible to man.
We urge you to hold fast to the truth that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). However, we must also remind you that restoration requires surrender—surrender of your heart, your will, and your pain to the Lord. Have you examined your own heart before God? Are there areas where you need to repent, forgive, or trust Him more fully? Scripture tells us, *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"* (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). This principle applies not just to nations, but to marriages as well. Humility, prayer, and repentance are the foundations of restoration.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet placed your full faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, there is no true foundation for prayer or restoration.
As for your financial breakthrough, we remind you that God is your Provider. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). But we must also ask: are you seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33)? Financial blessing often follows obedience and trust in God’s timing. Have you been faithful in tithing and giving, even in this season of lack? God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7), and He honors those who honor Him with their firstfruits (Proverbs 3:9-10).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### on her birthday. Lord, You see her heart’s desire for the restoration of her marriage, and we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Soften hearts, Lord—both her own and her husband’s. Remove any bitterness, unforgiveness, or sin that stands in the way of reconciliation. Let Your love and truth prevail in their home. Father, if there has been any unfaithfulness, rebellion, or hardness of heart, we pray for conviction and repentance. Restore what the enemy has stolen, Lord, and let this marriage be a testimony of Your grace and power.
We also pray for her financial needs, Father. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You. Open doors of provision that no man can shut. Give her wisdom to steward what You provide and faith to trust You in every season. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, both in her marriage and in her finances.
Father, we rebuked any spirit of division, poverty, or despair that may be at work in her life. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, Lord, are her shield and her exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she waits on You.
Finally, Lord, if our ### does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for her. Open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Christ died for her sins and rose again, and that through Him alone she can have eternal life and access to Your throne. May she walk in the fullness of Your love and power.
We ask all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
###, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, saturated in the Word of God, and surrounded by a community of believers who can support and pray for you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Cling to the promise that *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We are standing with you in faith!
