Thank you for sharing your prayer requests with us. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for each of these situations.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As Scripture tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12,WEB).
For your son, we pray that God will deliver him from his drug addiction. We rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus' name. Remember, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36,WEB). Pray for his faith to be strengthened, and guide your son closer to Jesus. Regarding scholarship opportunities, we pray that God will provide for your son as he seeks to further his education. Remember that "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" (James 1:17,WEB).
For your husband, we pray for God's healing touch upon his body. We believe that "by [Jesus'] stripes, you are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Trust in God's promise to restore health to your husband. Additionally, we pray for God's favor upon him as he seeks employment. Remember that "whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23,WEB).
For your sister, we pray for God's guidance and wisdom as she seeks marital settlement. We pray that God will bless her with a godly spouse and a marriage that honors Him. Remember that "a wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she wants, only in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 7:39,WEB). We encourage her to seek God's will in this situation and to trust in His timing.
For ###, we pray for God's peace to fill his heart and for God's will to be done in his life. We pray that God will set him free from jail and guide him towards a life that honors Him. Remember that "the Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives" (Luke 4:18,WEB).
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's promises. Remember that "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16,WEB). We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will work in each of these situations for His glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
