Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of life and another year. May every birthday celebration become an opportunity to bless others. Give me grace, wisdom, compassion, and resources to begin charitable initiatives that support healthcare, education, food, and vulnerable communities. Grant me grace to give generously, serve faithfully, and remain humble. May my life continually bring hope, healing, and positive change. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen. We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of life and for adding another year to your days. What a beautiful desire you have expressed, to turn every birthday celebration into an opportunity to bless others, and we praise God for placing this compassion and generosity on your heart.

We love the verse you shared and we take it to heart together, It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35. This is the very heart of Christ, who gave Himself for us. We also remember the promise, He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; he will reward him. Proverbs 19:17, and the encouragement, Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7. Your desire to support healthcare, education, food, and vulnerable communities reflects the light Christ calls us to be, for He said, Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for life, for breath, and for Your faithful mercies that are new every morning. We thank You for our brother or sister and for the burden You have placed on their heart to give generously and serve faithfully. We ask You to grant grace, wisdom, and compassion in abundance. If any lacks wisdom, we know You give to all liberally and without reproach, James 1:5, so we ask for clear wisdom to steward resources well and to begin charitable initiatives that truly bring hope, healing, and positive change. Provide the resources needed according to Your riches, and guard this heart in humility, that all glory would go to You and not to man. Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom, Psalm 90:12, and use every year You give us for Your purposes. Keep this life humble, faithful, and fruitful, and let every act of giving be done in love and in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have all good things. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord's leading as you plan these charitable efforts, to pray for discernment, to seek godly counsel, and to give not only from abundance but from a sincere heart of love. The Lord sees what is done in secret and delights in humble service. Your prayer upon this birthday is comely and Christlike, and I thank God for the spirit which prompts it. To ask not for greater ease or honor for yourself, but for grace to give generously and to serve faithfully, is to echo our Lord's own words, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Our Savior has set us the pattern of marvellous giving, for He gave Himself. There was nothing to compel Him except the simple might of His love toward sinners. If we have tasted that gratuitous mercy, we shall desire to spend and be spent for others, not in fits and starts, spasms and excitements, but in a constant, thorough, practical subservience to the mind of the Most High. True service is not mere thought, scheme and resolution, it is actually giving all we have, and in giving all we have offered as much and more than those whose opportunities are ampler.

You ask for grace to support the needy in matters of healthcare, education, food, and to remember vulnerable communities. This is pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction. Let your charity be wide as the world, for God makes His rain to fall on the just and the unjust, but remember we are to do good unto all men, specially to those who are of the household of faith. This charity is not left optional. Every Christian is bound to wear this garment, and it must be manifested especially to those whose need is real and cannot be a matter of imposture.

Yet charity without purity will be of no use. In vain should we give all our substance to the poor if we do not walk in the way of holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Take care therefore that as you give, you keep a daily walking near to God, a daily humbling, a daily coming to the precious blood of Jesus for restoring grace, lest there be spots in your feasts of charity. And take care also that you be not cumbered with much serving. Martha was cumbered, and in her much serving she lost the quiet sitting at the Master's feet. First wait upon the Lord, then go and serve Him effectively.

If you would serve Christ, you must follow Him, and you cannot have Christ if you will not serve Him. Those who are saved rejoice that they are serving Him, and thus give evidence of a renewed mind. Serve Him in His strength, not your own, and serve Him with gladness. Because our infirmities and imperfections are washed away in His precious blood, we need not serve with timorous fear, but with holy gladness. Let diligence and fervor be joined with joy, that your giving may not be grudging but cheerful, as befits a steward of God's grace.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life and for another year granted by Your mercy. We thank You for putting into this heart a desire not to be ministered unto, but to minister. Grant grace, wisdom, compassion and needful resources, that what is purposed for good may be established in Your will. Teach this Your servant to give humbly, to serve faithfully in Your strength, and to keep purity with charity. Your prayer of thanksgiving for the gift of life is pleasing to God, and your desire to turn a birthday into an occasion for blessing others reflects the very heart of the gospel.

It is more blessed to give than to receive, as you quoted from Acts 20:35, because love that moves outward toward the neighbor is greater than what remains only for ourselves. The Scriptures teach that fasting and other disciplines benefit the soul who practices them, but almsgiving, teaching and acts of charity pass from us to others and bring healing beyond ourselves. When you give to support healthcare, education, food and vulnerable communities, you are doing service not only with your resources but with your heart.

I pray that God will grant you what you have asked, grace, wisdom, compassion and provision, so that what you begin may be done faithfully and with a willing heart, not out of constraint or for show, but from love for Christ. Remember that the humility God blesses is not forced upon us by circumstances, but chosen. He looks to the one who is meek and contrite and who trembles at His word, the one who, even when able to be lifted up, chooses to be lowly in mind. Therefore as you give generously, ask the Lord to keep you from being puffed up, even about your own generosity or humility. Count yourself always as a debtor to His mercy, remembering how far your Master descended in love for you, and you will remain humble and joyful in service.

May the Lord establish the work of your hands, supply what you need to serve others, guard your heart in true humility, and make your life a steady source of hope and healing to those in need.
