I believe that it is important to pray for everyone, and today I ask for prayer for someone famous. I don't know how many of you listen to Christian radio stations or buy Christian music, but I am deeply saddened by the tragedy that has occurred within the family of Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman. A couple of his more recent songs are "Cinderella" and "Miracle of the Moment.

If you have not seen the news, Steven's five year old daughter was killed yesterday at their family home after being struck by a vehicle. As if that isn't tragic enough for a family, Steven's son was the one driving the SUV. It was also reported that several family members witnessed the accident.

Obviously, I ask that we pray for peace and comfort for this family. But I also ask that we would pray for God to keep satan far, far away. There are great opportunities within this situation for him to put a foot in a door - unforgiveness, blame, hate, guilt and the list goes on.

Please pray for this wonderful artist and his family. They are going through some very dark days right now and I pray God carries them all the way through.

Lord, I ask that you be with this family and friends. I ask in Jesus name that your LOVE, MERCY AND FORGIVENESS BE WITH THIS FAMILY.

In the name of the Father, I ask that satan be bound away from this family, during the grief and healing. I ask that ANGELS surround every corner of the home, family and friends. Lord, bring them peace that only YOU CAN GIVE.
