Biblical Response to Racism, Dr Van Gayton

Having been a supporter of Dr Gayton's message for decades, he is a bishop, scholar, theologian and has a true word from God on the issue of racism which God has uniquely crafted through his life. Hie wrote his doctorate on "The Good News for Racism." May God bless him, strengthen him, protect him and let the Word of the Lord run swiftly to him and through him (2 Thes 3:1-3), in Jesus' name

Racism Isn’t A Bad Habit. It Isn’t A Mistake. It Is Sin.

Prayer Focus: Oh Heavenly Father, our hearts are heavy. Some of our hearts are broken and we are tired. God I ask You in Jesus’ name, please give Your children and Your church eyes to see and ears to hear how and where Your Holy Spirit is working on what is going on in our Nation concerning racism and police brutality. God help each of us to see every person the way You see them. God, break our hearts for what breaks Yours. Let us not merely say that we love each other, but show it in our actions. Give us the strength and compassion to mourn with those who mourn and to weep with those who weep. God, let Your justice, righteousness, and love roll and flow from us like rivers of living water that never ends in this Nation. Lord purify our thoughts and hearts and fill us with a genuine hunger for Justice, Mercy, Truth, and True Peace. God let justice and mercy start with me, my home, my family, my church, and my neighborhood. God let racism and police brutality stop, and the system that set up systemic racism burn to the grown and die at the roots. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. –YouVersion–Edited by Encourager Linda Flagg

The question we have to ask ourselves every day is this. Did Jesus practice racism? How did He treat other people who came to Him? When He said. Love one another.... did He meant to love only those we care?
Just read and see what Jesus did when He carried a heavy cross. Women were weeping before Him. He said. Women of Jerusalem, weep not for me. Weep for yourselves and for the things that will happen in the future. Jesus knows our future. He knows our heart. If we really love the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul, then we will never ever be a racist or hate anyone. It is against God word.

I am glad for freedom in america, we should never have had the wicked institution of oppression in the first place. There were prophets who warned against it while we were transitioning from england but they did not win out 245 years ago. I am glad we dealt with it in the 1860s and the 350,000 white soldiers who died for the union in the civil war did not die in vain and the "good news" of the Emancipation Proclamation reached throughout the country. I hope no one whose family members died to free slaves is called a racist just because they are white, for that itself would be racist. I am glad President Lincoln did not die in vain. I am glad Dr MLK, Jr, did not die in vain. I am equally sad both died. I met Dr MLKing's son and told him how much I appreciated his father's work. He could tell I was sincere and thanked me. Of my five best friends, 2 are black, 1 spanish, 1 Irish and 1 just white, not even identifying his nationality other than american (4 are christian, I'm praying for the 1 other). I am more a "brother" to my saved black and spanish friends than my unsaved white friend. I am from a northern state and would appreciate not being judged for the color of my skin, and I am sure there are many in the south who would also enjoy the same courtesy. I honestly feel reverse racism may actually be as big a problem at present. I pray for the end of all racism, that everyone is judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character, in Jesus' name.

What is amazing to me in this day in age, having to have neighbors that attack other Christians daily and have the nerve to call themselves Christian ✝ and “the Superior race”...but my Lord will soon come and even out the score and deal with their Ignorance. Let’s all pray for their Lost Soul “ I will repay sayeth the Lord “ So be it! It Is Done! We Thank and Praise the Lord Yashua Amen!🙏🙌🔥
