I understand this situation. I was once in love with a woman who suffered from severe Bi-polar disorder. She was perscribed depicote..but it doesnt work with alcohol and other drugs...it was a very hard and horrible experience...I understand your pain and what your going through...your not alone...EVER.

barbi704 - I understand what the family is going through. I have several members of my own famliy line that are bi-polar. Some are getting the medication they need and others are in denial and causing a lot of grief. My heart goes out to Jack and his family.
Lord, I pray you would show Jack the way. Lead him and guide him to get the help he needs before he destroys his family, his friends and his life. Place your protection over him and surround him with your love. Send him loving, caring people who will gently lead him in the right direction without juding him, correcting him or pushing him. He has to see it for himself and want to get help or it won't happen. I know first hand the pain of the family involved. It can be so heartbreaking to watch the highs and lows.
