Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your brother. We have been lifting him up before the Lord and standing with you for his complete deliverance from the bondage of alcohol. We have been praying that God will remove this craving from him, that he will come to truly hate alcohol and be set free from its grip forever, and that the Lord will replace your worry and heaviness with His peace and comfort.
We continue to claim the promise of John 8:36 that when the Son sets us free we will be free indeed, and we pray that the Lord will give your brother strength to walk in that freedom by the power of the Holy Spirit.
