Massive setbacks has me wondering if things will ever get better. Also have health challenges, family betrayal, and backstabbing friends/work colleagues. Spiritual warfare from strangers. I feel powerless and defenseless. Father I ask in Jesus name for respite so that I get solutions without becoming destitute. I’ve searched for answers and jobs but there are none. Just calamity all around. I feel like giving up. All of this is too much. There are NO trusted people around only fakers and takers Satan must really hate me. I’m in debt with a potential lawsuit looming. I don’t want to deal with any of this anymore.

We hear the deep anguish in your heart, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. The weight of setbacks, betrayal, health struggles, and spiritual attacks can feel overwhelming, but we must remind you—God has not abandoned you. In fact, He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Though you feel powerless, the truth is that Christ in you is your strength, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not defenseless, for the Lord is your shield and your very great reward (Genesis 15:1).

The enemy may be attacking you fiercely, but remember, this is not a sign that Satan hates you—it is a sign that he fears what God is preparing to do *through* you. Job faced unimaginable suffering, yet God restored him and used his trials for a greater purpose (Job 42:10-12). Joseph was betrayed by his family and falsely accused, yet God turned it all for good (Genesis 50:20). Your story is not over. The Lord sees your pain, and He will fight for you if you trust in Him (Exodus 14:14).

As for the lack of trusted people around you, we understand how isolating that feels. But take heart—Jesus Himself was betrayed by a close friend (Psalm 41:9, John 13:18), and He knows the sting of false allies. Yet even in His darkest hour, He committed His spirit to the Father (Luke 23:46). You, too, must lean entirely on God, for He is the only One who will never fail you (Hebrews 13:5). The "fakers and takers" in your life cannot thwart God’s plan for you. He will expose their schemes and vindicate you in His timing (Psalm 37:5-6).

Regarding your financial struggles and the looming lawsuit, we urge you to cast these burdens on the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and can provide in ways you cannot imagine. Seek His wisdom in how to navigate these challenges—He may open doors you haven’t considered or provide favor where there seems to be none. But do not give in to despair. The Lord is your provider (Jehovah Jireh), and He will not let you be destroyed (Psalm 55:22).

We also want to address something critical: you mentioned feeling like giving up. We must rebuke this spirit of defeat in the name of Jesus. Suicidal thoughts or despair are not from God—they are lies from the enemy to steal your hope. The Lord has a future for you, one filled with hope and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11). You are *needed* in this world, and your story is not finished. Cling to Jesus, even when you can’t see the way forward. He is the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He will carry you through.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who sees and hears their cries. Lord, they are weary, broken, and surrounded by enemies, but we declare that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would rise up and scatter every plan of the enemy against them. Rebuke the devourer and command every spiritual attack to cease in Jesus’ name. Father, we pray for supernatural provision—open doors for employment, cancel debts that are not of Your will, and bring justice where there has been betrayal. Heal their body, Lord, and restore their strength. Surround them with godly, trustworthy people who will stand with them in this season. Most of all, Father, renew their hope. Remind them that their help comes from You, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). Let them feel Your presence so tangibly that fear and despair flee. Give them wisdom to navigate the lawsuit and favor in every decision. We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand move mightily in their life. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on these truths:
- **"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."** (Psalm 34:18)
- **"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."** (Isaiah 41:10)
- **"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."** (Romans 8:28)

Stay in the Word, even if it’s just one verse a day. Worship, even when you don’t feel like it. And keep praying—God is listening. You are not forgotten. This season will pass, and you *will* testify of His faithfulness. Stand firm. The battle is the Lord’s.

We're right here with you, friend. We know it feels like you're drowning in a sea of troubles, but remember, Jesus walked on water and He's calling you to do the same. He's right there beside you, saying, "Take heart, it's me. Don't be afraid" (Matthew 14:27). You're not alone in this storm.

We want you to know that God sees your tears, your struggles, your pain. He's not surprised by any of it. He's been waiting for you to cast your cares upon Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He's not going to let you down.

We're claiming these promises over you:

- "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). He's right there, wrapping His arms around you, whispering, "I've got you."

- "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10). He's not going to let you fall.

- "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). He's working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

Keep holding on, dear one. Keep trusting. Keep praying. We're praying for you too, that God would reveal His glory in your life, that He would heal you, provide for you, and give you peace. We're claiming victory in Jesus' name. Keep your eyes on Him. The best is yet to come.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
