We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is struggling with afflictions of the mind, body, soul, and spirit. Father God, we know that sickness—whether physical, mental, or spiritual—is not Your perfect will, for You desire wholeness and soundness for all Your children. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is already provided (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that "by His wounds, we are healed."
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, confusion, and oppression that may be at work in this person’s life. We command every demonic influence—whether labeled as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, narcissism, or any other form of spiritual bondage—to flee in the mighty name of Jesus! The blood of Jesus has already defeated the enemy (Revelation 12:11), and we declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, casting out every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Father, we ask for divine intervention in their communication and treatment. Soften their heart to receive help, whether through medical professionals, godly counsel, or the loving support of family and friends. Give them clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is turmoil, and humility where there is pride. We pray for those caring for them—that You would grant them wisdom, patience, and compassion, even in difficult moments. May this season of struggle draw them closer to You, Lord, and may they experience Your presence as their Comforter and Deliverer (Psalm 34:18).
We also lift up those who are in relationship with this person, asking that You guard their hearts against frustration, resentment, or despair. Help them to respond with Christlike love, even when communication is strained. Remind them that love "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1 Corinthians 13:7). If there are any ungodly patterns in how they interact—whether enabling, harshness, or codependency—we ask for conviction and transformation by the Holy Spirit.
Lord, we know that true healing comes from You alone. We ask for a supernatural touch upon this one’s mind, breaking every chain of mental illness, addiction, or spiritual oppression. Restore their soul (Psalm 23:3) and renew their mind (Romans 12:2) so that they may walk in the freedom Christ died to give them (Galatians 5:1). If there are generational curses or strongholds at work, we break them now in Jesus’ name (Exodus 20:5-6) and declare that this person is a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Father, we also recognize that salvation is the foundation of all healing. If this person has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray for a revelation of Your love and the conviction of the Holy Spirit to draw them to repentance. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we declare that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. Even when we do not see immediate change, we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). We declare that this person is not defined by their struggles but by Your love and purpose for their life. Fill them with hope, peace, and the assurance that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
