Dear Lord Jesus,

Please help my best friend move out and be able to make enough money to move out up and find a good job and I get him a good wife and so he and his brother can move out just like their sister. And live a good life that they deserve.

In Jesus Name Amne.

We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt request, lifting up your best friend and his brother. First, we want to acknowledge that you have come to the right place, invoking the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach God and find true help and salvation. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to the Father, and we are so grateful you have called on His name.

We pray for your best friend and his brother, asking the Lord to open doors of opportunity for them. Father, we ask that You provide them with steady, fulfilling employment that honors You and allows them to support themselves independently. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). May they find jobs that not only meet their financial needs but also align with their skills and passions, giving them a sense of purpose and dignity.

We also lift up the desire for your best friend to find a godly wife, as marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22). Lord, we pray that You would prepare his heart and the heart of a woman who loves You and seeks to honor You in all things. May their relationship be built on a foundation of faith, trust, and mutual respect, reflecting the love Christ has for His church. We rebuke any mindset or behavior that would lead him to seek a relationship outside of Your will, including any temptation toward fornication or impurity. "But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity... because these are improper for God’s holy people" (Ephesians 5:3). Help him to wait patiently for the spouse You have prepared for him, pursuing purity and holiness in the meantime.

Father, we also ask that You would strengthen the bond between these brothers as they navigate this season of transition. May they lean on one another and on You, finding comfort and encouragement in Your Word. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Surround them with a community of believers who can support and guide them as they seek to live lives that honor You.

Lord, we also pray for their sister, that she would continue to walk in Your ways and be a light to her brothers. May her example inspire them to seek You wholeheartedly and to trust in Your provision. "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of their hearts. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Instead, fill them with hope and confidence in Your promises, knowing that You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Heavenly Father, we trust in Your timing and Your perfect will for their lives. May they seek You above all else, and may their lives reflect Your glory. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the real love you have for your best friend, and how much you want him, and his brother, to step into a life that is full and stable. That desire to see him move out, find meaningful work, marry a good wife, and finally enjoy the kind of life you feel he deserves, it’s the kind of thing close friends carry in prayer. We’re joining you in that.

Sometimes when we watch someone we care about try to get traction, the wait can feel long. The job market, the housing situation, they can be discouraging. And the longing for a spouse can bring a quiet ache that doesn’t go away quickly. Your friend is fortunate to have someone who keeps bringing these needs before the Lord.

One grounded thing you can do is simply be a steady, practical encouragement alongside your prayers. If you’re able, help him think through a budget or polish a resume, or even just celebrate small wins like a good interview. Sometimes those little steps make the bigger ones feel less out of reach. And as you keep trusting God for a good wife for him, you can also model what it looks like to hold that desire loosely while staying open to how God shapes a person’s character in the waiting. We serve a Lord who genuinely cares about every practical detail, the roof over our heads, the work of our hands, and the relationships we long for.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, thank You that You see this best friend and his brother right where they are. We ask You to open doors for work that will supply what they need to move forward. Give them wisdom with money and help them find a place to live where they can be safe and settled. When the time is right, we pray You would bring a godly wife into his life, someone who will walk with him in faith and love. Give our praying friend strength and hope as he supports them, and help all of them to trust Your timing more than their own. In Your name we pray, Amen.

Father, we lift up this beloved friend before You. Open doors for them to move out successfully, provide a good job with sufficient income, and bring a godly spouse into their life if it is Your will. We ask that You also make a way for their brother to move forward alongside them, just as their sister has. Grant them both the lives of blessing, stability, and purpose that You have prepared for them.

*"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."* — **Jeremiah 29:11**

*"The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to bless all the work of your hands."* — **Deuteronomy 28:12**

*"He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord."* — **Proverbs 18:22**

*"Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* — **Psalm 37:4**

You pour out your heart for your friend, and that is a noble impulse, yet consider this: does any man truly deserve a good life from the hand of the Most High? The Scriptures give no warrant for such a claim. Job himself, a man perfect and upright, dared not stand upon his merits when God drew near, but cried, "I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes." Our deserts are wrath, not peace. All good comes as a gift of grace through Jesus Christ alone. Therefore, while you ask for a good job, a good wife, and a settled home, let your plea be seasoned with humility, not as one presenting a bill of rights, but as a beggar spreading empty hands before the Giver of every perfect gift.

You do well to bring this matter to the Lord Jesus, for intercessory prayer is precious incense. Remember, it was when Job prayed for his friends, those very ones who had spoken harshly and foolishly, that the Lord turned his captivity. In the same way, press on in prayer for your friend even if the answer delays or the path twists through hardship. What if the Lord sees fit to test him, or to strip him of certain comforts for a season? Shall the clay dictate to the Potter, "Should it be according to your mind"? Far be it from us. The same God who upheld Job under the loss of children and health is able to sustain your friend through any trial. And if prosperity tarries, still charge God with no foolishness; His timing is not ours.

Seek for your friend, above all, the saving knowledge of the Redeemer who lives. If he gains a house and a wife but has not Christ, he is poor indeed. But if he loses all and clings to Jesus, saying, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him," then he shall find morning after the night of weeping. Pray that his bow may be renewed, not merely his worldly estate, but his inner man, anointed with fresh oil from the Holy Spirit. And as for a wife, ask that if the Lord wills, he be given a godly helpmeet who fears the Lord, not merely a catch of the world. But remember, the family of God is to be one household in sympathy: weep with those who weep, as Job did, and bear this friend's burdens earnestly, yet not as though you have forgotten your own frailty. You too must one day go to the house appointed for all living; let that sober thought press you to prize eternal things.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your love for your friend is a rare and precious thing, like that friendship where a man says, "He is another self." Such affection is sweeter than any earthly pleasure, and it mirrors the mercy God calls us to show. Yet do not be deceived into thinking a good life consists in money, a home, or even a wife. These can be blessings, but they become snares if they pull the heart from Christ. Remember how Satan used Job's wife to tempt him to curse God, and know that a wife sought only for wealth can fill a house with arrogance and ruin. Seek first for your friend the kingdom of heaven, and all else will be added as God sees fit.

When you see him in want, do not hurry by like those who pass a wounded man in the forum. Be the Samaritan who stopped, offer help, words, or even tears, for God rewards a sigh for the distressed. Yet the greatest mercy you can show is to draw him toward salvation. Weep if he does not know the Lord, for we should love all men and long for their rescue more than for our own comfort. Pray then for his soul above all, that he might find rest in Christ.

Trust God with the outcome. Look at Jacob and Joseph: the more others schemed against them, the more their trials turned to good. Hardship can make a man wiser and bind a wife to his side with true devotion, as it did for Jacob. But chase not after riches or a hasty marriage, lest the hope of money blind you both to virtue. The friend who loves Christ fully finds even poverty and exile bearable, for he has the One who sticks closer than a brother.

Examine your own heart. Do you love Christ as you love this friend? He gave His Son for us while we were enemies, yet we often prefer money or human ties to Him. If we truly loved Him, we would do all for His sake, not as hired servants eyeing a reward. Lead your friend by this example, showing that to live is Christ. Then together you may press toward that place where He has gone, a home beyond all earthly ones.

It moves me to see how deeply you care for your best friend. What you are doing, bringing his needs and your hopes for his life before the Lord, is the truest act of love. Your request for his provision, a new home, meaningful work, and a godly wife comes from a place of wanting him to experience the good life you believe he deserves.

In the Scriptures, we find a man named Job who also faced enormous upheaval. He lost his possessions, his health, and his sense of stability. His friends came, and though they meant to comfort him, they made a terrible mistake. They assumed Job’s suffering was proof that he had done something wrong, that his life just needed a simple adjustment to get back on track. They told him, in effect, “Get right with God, and everything will be okay.” But they were wrong. Job’s story shows us that pain and turmoil are not always a direct result of a person’s sin. Sometimes, God’s purposes are far deeper and more complex than we can understand, and his work in a person’s life is happening even when it seems he is absent.

As you pray for your friend, I urge you to avoid the approach of Job’s friends. His deepest need isn’t just for a better circumstance, but for a true encounter with the living God. Job cried out for a mediator, someone who could stand between him and God and make sense of his pain. We know that mediator is Jesus. So while you can certainly pray for a job and a home, and even for a wife, pray most of all that your friend would “acquaint himself with God and be at peace.” Ask the Lord to lay His words in your friend’s heart. That is the foundation that makes all other good things truly good.

The same God who brags about His faithful ones is not ignoring your friend’s life, even if the path ahead looks unknown. Keep bringing your honest cries to the Lord, trusting that He can work out what we cannot. We can’t always explain “why,” but we can know the One who holds the answer. I am joining you in asking for God’s mercy, provision, and clear guidance for your friend and his brother, and I trust that the Shepherd who knows His own sheep will lead them well.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your best friend and his brother. It’s a blessing to come alongside you as we lift them up before the Lord, asking for His provision, guidance, and favor in their lives. We’ve been praying that your friend would find the right job—one that not only meets his financial needs but also aligns with the good plans God has for him. We’ve also asked the Lord to open doors for them to move out, just as their sister has, so they can step into the life of peace and stability they deserve.

We’ve been praying, too, for the future wife God has prepared for your friend, that she would be drawn closer to him in God’s perfect timing and that their relationship would be rooted in Christ. We believe the Lord hears these prayers and is already at work in ways we may not yet see.

If God has answered any of these requests, we would love to rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can give Him the glory together. If it seems like the answers haven’t come yet, we encourage you to post this request again so we can continue to stand in agreement with you. Either way, we’re here to lift you all up as you seek the Lord’s will.

May God’s peace surround you and your friend, and may His provision overflow in every area of their lives. Keep trusting in Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
