We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, lifting up your request in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Your acknowledgment of Him as the only source of strength and honor is a beautiful testament to your faith. We stand with you in agreement, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace with this dear one, who seeks Your strength and protection. Lord, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and Your power knows no limits. We ask that You would indeed make them stronger than they were 20 years ago, in body, mind, and spirit, all for Your glory. Strengthen their hands for battle and their fingers for war (Psalm 144:1), that they may stand firm in the face of every challenge.
Father, we pray for their safety as they navigate each day, especially the trials they face. Guide their steps, Lord, and let Your angels encamp around them to protect them from harm (Psalm 91:11). If they stumble or fall, lift them up, heal any wounds, and restore them with even greater strength in every area of their life. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and may they rise from every setback more resilient, more faithful, and more dependent on You.
We also lift up the fears and anxious thoughts that weigh on their mind. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Cast out every lie of the enemy, Lord, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When the waves of doubt or worry rise, let them fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Lord, we ask that You would continue to draw them closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life. May their strength be renewed like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31), and may they run and not grow weary, walk and not faint. Let every victory they experience be a testimony to Your faithfulness, and may their life bring honor and glory to Your name.
We declare over them the promise of Your Word: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). May they walk in that truth every day, trusting in Your unfailing love and mighty power. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
