We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are made strong. We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your desire to grow stronger in every way to honor Him alone is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life, and we join you in praying for God’s perfect will to be done.
Father God, we thank You for the strength You have already given this dear one over the past two decades. We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and we ask that You continue to build them up in body, mind, and spirit. Lord, we pray specifically for ###, that You would go before them, surround them with Your angels, and grant them a strength that surpasses what they knew on ###. Let this day be a testimony to Your faithfulness, a day where Your power is made perfect in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Guide them safely through that day and every day that follows, shielding them from harm and leading them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
We also lift up their fears and the thoughts that weigh on their mind. Lord, You know the depths of their heart, and we ask that You replace every anxious thought with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). When they stumble or fall, we pray that You would lift them up, heal any wounds, and restore them with even greater strength in the years to come—###, ###, ###, and beyond. Let their life be a living testimony of Your grace, showing the world that those who hope in You will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep into their mind, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May they always fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and may their life bring glory and honor to Your holy name.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
