We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation concerning your friend. Deception and manipulation are serious matters that grieve the heart of God, for He is a God of truth and righteousness. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 12:22, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." We also pray for wisdom and discernment for our sister/brother who has been affected by this deception. Guard their heart from bitterness or distrust, and help them to extend grace while standing firm in truth. Give them the strength to set healthy boundaries and to pray for their friend without enabling his sin.
