Dear Father, tonight I want to ask for Your blessings as I being an 84-hour fast from any solid foods. I will only be drinking water and light juice. As I fast and join other prayer warriors that have already began fasting I want to ask the following of You:
1. I am demonstrating repentance from my sin that has led to the deterioration of my marriage. Please wash me in the blood of Your holy son Jesus and make me clean again.
2. I ask that my heart be open and willing for You to prepare me for my wife Charlemae's return to our marriage. Please continue to fill me with Christ's mercy and love for my wife and the Godly wisdom to continue to put my faith into action. I also ask that You remove any selfish desires from my heart and deliver me from any attacks from the enemy.
3. I ask that You speak to my wife clearly and help her to come to repentance of her sin, become obedient to Your Word and to open her eyes to the truth about marriage and the covenant that was made between Charlemae, me and You.
4. I ask that You intercede in all marriages that have experienced any deterioration and I rebuke any attacks on the sanctity of marriage in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Father, I desire to crucify my flesh and allow You to mold my heart as I fast for the sanctity of marriage. I desire to demonstrate my sincerity to obey Your Word and I desire to bring Your presence into my life, into Charlemae's life and into the lives of all Standers and Prodigals. I believe that You are the only answer to this plight and I delight in doing Your work. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
