Been waiting decades for Miracles

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Been so left out and abandoned, your daughter doesn’t care for me she’s made that clear, so who will I’m not getting any younger who and how will anyone care for me Jesus who can I trust now

We hear the deep ache in your heart—the longing for love, the weariness of waiting, and the pain of feeling forgotten. Decades of hoping for miracles while facing abandonment and rejection can make even the strongest soul grow weary. But we want to gently remind you: **your worth is not defined by human relationships or the absence of them.** You are deeply known and fiercely loved by the One who formed you in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16). He has not forgotten you, even when it feels like the world has.

Your daughter’s rejection is a painful wound, and we grieve with you over that brokenness. But we must also speak truth: **no human love—no child, spouse, or friend—can ever fully satisfy the longing in your heart.** That void is shaped for God alone. Jesus Himself warned that in this fallen world, families would betray one another (Matthew 10:35-36), but He also promised, *“I will never leave you nor forsake you”* (Hebrews 13:5). Even when people fail you, He remains faithful.

You ask, *“Who will care for me?”* and *“Who can I trust?”* The answer is found in the One who calls Himself your **Husband, Father, and Shepherd** (Isaiah 54:5, Psalm 27:10, Psalm 23:1). He sees your loneliness and your fears about growing older. He is not indifferent to your tears. The psalmist cried out in similar despair: *“How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?”* (Psalm 13:1), yet he ended with trust: *“But I have trusted in your loving kindness. My heart shall rejoice in your salvation”* (Psalm 13:5).

Now, let us address something critical: **your focus on miracles as the solution.** While God *can* perform miracles, His greatest work is often in transforming *us*—our hearts, our trust, our dependence on Him rather than circumstances. Jesus told the disciples, *“You seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate the bread and were filled”* (John 6:26). He was warning them (and us) not to chase after temporal fixes but to seek *Him*—the Bread of Life. Miracles may come, but if they don’t, will you still trust Him? Will you still say, *“Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him”* (Job 13:15)?

As for your future—your fear of being alone—we urge you to surrender that fear to the Lord. If He has called you to marriage, He will provide a godly spouse in His timing (Proverbs 18:22). But if He has called you to singleness, He will be your portion (Psalm 73:26). **Neither path is second-best.** The apostle Paul wrote that singleness is a gift (1 Corinthians 7:7-8), an opportunity to serve the Lord undivided. Whether married or single, your identity is in Christ, not in your marital status.

Lastly, we must ask: **Where is Jesus in your plea?** You’ve poured out your heart, but we don’t see His name lifted up as your hope. There is **no other name** by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), no other mediator between you and God (1 Timothy 2:5). If you’ve not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we implore you: **turn to Him today.** Confess your need for a Savior, believe in His death and resurrection for your sins, and invite Him to be Lord of your life (Romans 10:9). Without Him, no miracle, no relationship, no earthly comfort will ever be enough.

---
**Let us pray for you:**

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You—broken, weary, and longing for love. Lord, You see every tear they’ve cried in the secret places. You’ve counted every night of loneliness and every moment of feeling forgotten. We ask that You **flood their heart with the truth of Your love**, that they would know beyond doubt they are *not* abandoned—because You, the God of the universe, have engraved them on the palms of Your hands (Isaiah 49:16).

Father, heal the wound of their daughter’s rejection. Soften her heart, Lord, but even if she never turns, **let this beloved child of Yours find their comfort in You alone.** Remind them that even if their own family forsakes them, **You will take them in** (Psalm 27:10).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that whispers they will be left uncared for. You are Jehovah-Jireh, their Provider (Genesis 22:14). You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10)—how much more will You provide for their needs? Give them **faith to trust You with their future**, whether in singleness or marriage. If it’s Your will, bring a godly spouse who will cherish them as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). But if not, **let them find joy in the calling of singleness**, serving You without distraction.

Jesus, we ask that You **reveal Yourself to them in fresh ways.** Open their eyes to see You in the sunrise, in the kindness of strangers, in the still small voice that whispers, *“I am with you.”* Break the lie that miracles are the only answer—**let them see that You, in Your presence, are enough.**

And if they’ve not yet surrendered to You, Lord, **draw them now.** Let today be the day they cry out, *“Jesus, save me!”* and experience the miracle of new birth (John 3:3). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in hope, not despair.

We declare **Your promises over them**:
- *“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit”* (Psalm 34:18).
- *“Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry, and will deliver”* (Isaiah 46:4).
- *“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness”* (Isaiah 41:10).

In the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Hope and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of decades of waiting, the sting of a daughter's rejection, and the fear of growing old alone. It's a heavy burden to bear, and we acknowledge your pain. But remember, God is not surprised by your circumstances. He sees you, He knows you, and He loves you deeply.

In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is in the process of healing you, of binding up those wounds that have festered for so long. He is not a God who leaves His children to suffer alone. He is a God who is near, who is present, and who cares.

As for your future, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 71:5-6, "For you are my hope, O Lord God, my confidence even from my youth. By you I have been sustained and delivered; why should I fear when adversaries assail me?" God is your hope, your confidence, your sustainer, and your deliverer. He will not abandon you.

Let's also remember that God's timeline is not our timeline. He sees the bigger picture, and He knows what is best for you. Trust in His timing, even when it's hard. As it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Let us pray together, "Dear Lord, we lift up this precious soul to You. We ask that You would comfort them in their pain, that You would heal their broken heart, and that You would give them hope for the future. Help them to trust in You, to rely on You, and to find their comfort and joy in You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
