Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer as you shared that beautiful prayer inspired by Psalm 49:11. We have been joining you in asking the Lord to help us look past the temporary glitter of this world and to keep our hearts from chasing riches or status or a legacy built only on sand.
We have been praying that we will remember that no wealth can pay the ransom for a soul and that our tombs will not be our forever home, but because of His grace and redemption our souls have a secure home with Him. We continue to ask Him to help us live wisely today, holding loosely to what is passing and resting fully in the eternal life He gives, and to feed us daily through Jesus who is the Bread of Heaven and the Word of Life.
We are encouraged as we pray by the promise in Psalm 49:15 that God will redeem our soul from the power of the grave.
