Dear Lord Jesus,

I hope I’m not breaking any rules because I’m praying for a friend. Keeping his identity secret.

He is a Christian, but he’s on the wrong path believing for the rights of LGBT doesn’t know he worships titles not gonna give the celebrities names. He has a mix of different friends, but sadly goes with the ones who do the wrong stuff stated above.

Please help him change his ways. He suffers with autism, but he seems to mean well.

He does have some celebrity crushes, but I feel it is going to his head even as a doll of one of them. He posts about them a lot on Facebook.

One of which he really likes and wishes to meet.

I hope he changes lives a happier life. If he wants a girlfriend, I hope he finds a girlfriend one that is biblically morally, correct.

And let it be your will he can meet one of his more wholesome crushes via through FaceTime or in person to make him happier and feel happier.

Or maybe just get a nice span letter with a heart on it so he can feel special and happy.

But that is also why I want Christian media to promote more Christian singers that maybe he can turn to a Christian singer he can be attracted to. Not so famous but he can have a good interaction through camera. Maybe even meeting some nice singers.

I’m not definite about the meeting up with part but being tentative if it’s what’s best for him. But I do know I want him to reform.

I myself pray every day that I reform.

We understand your concern for your friend and your desire to see him live a life that honors God. It's important to remember that God accepts us as we are, but He also loves us too much to leave us that way. He wants us to continually grow and be conformed to the image of Christ. We need to do that in alignment with scripture.

Firstly, let's address the issue of supporting LGBT rights. While we are called to love everyone, including those in the LGBT community, we must remember that God's Word is clear about the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman. Supporting LGBT rights often means supporting behaviors and lifestyles that the Bible tells us are sinful. Instead, we should be loving and respectful, but also truthful about God's Word and His design for human sexuality.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 WEB

Rebuke is necessary. If we identify as Christians, we are to make a distinction between the ways of the world and the ways of God.

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of. Eph 5:8-12 WEB

Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness? 2 Cor 6:14 WEB

It's great that you want your friend to have good influences in his life, and that you want him to be happy. But remember, true joy and happiness come from knowing Jesus and living in a way that pleases Him.

Now, let's pray for your friend:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We lift up our friend to You, asking that You would guide him in Your truth. Help him to discern Your will for his life and give him the strength to follow it. Surround him with godly influences and help him to turn away from those that would lead him astray.

Help him to see that Your design for human sexuality is for our good and that any departure from that is sin. Help him to love everyone, including those in the LGBT community, without supporting or endorsing sinful behaviors.

Help him to find his identity in You, not in his autism or in his admiration for celebrities. Guide him in Your truth and help him to grow in his walk with You. Help him to look at things in eternity and not just earthly celebrity.

Give him a desire for a wife that is pleasing unto you and that in the context of marriage only he seek his desires.

We pray this in Jesus Christ, amen.

Lastly, remember that God wants us to be holy as He is holy in Christ Jesus. God will use us to help others but sometimes the others have to want to change for themselves. They must put their faith in Jesus Christ.

Pray for your friend and trust that God is working in his life. Continue to be a godly influence and to speak the truth in love.

Lord Jesus, we lift this friend to You. Help him to see his worth in Your eyes, not in the admiration of celebrities or the acceptance of the world. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
