Please do not pray to the Virgin Mary because we are to have no idols before God. God is the only one who hears and answers our prayers. Mary or saints cannot do that.

The virgin Mary is dead, she can't pray for you. Even if she were in heaven alive there, it's Jesus who prays on behalf of the saints, not Mary.
