Be Faithful as Jesus!

2 Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil *one.
* some translations omits 'one' but evil in this verse encompasses all manner of unrighteousness which would include satan.

COMMENT
Our Lord is faithful! Praise God.

Let's examine this amazing verse.
'But the Lord is faithful,'

The first part of the verse implies a qualitative and a quantitative state belonging to our Lord, that we often disregard. Since our Lord is eternal, He's forever reliable. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Forever faithful. It's not part-time like earthly trust.

'and he will strengthen you...'

This phrase denotes an act of replenishing or restoring. And who's being restored? You, the believers, with great emphasis on believing.

Lastly, let's examine the final part of this beautiful verse.

'... our Lord will protect you from the evil one.'

God is great. We have our Champion in our corner. The Lord will sheild us from the evil one or any instrument of evil.

OUR LORD WHO IS FOREVER RELIABLE, WILL REPLENISH YOU AND SHIELD YOU FROM THE EVIL ONE AND HIS WICKED WAYS. FOREVER 24/7!

He's not only your firstline of defense, but forever indestructible. If the Lord is with you who can possibly be against you?
Unfortunately there is one thing that may get in the way. Your doubts!
Bury those doubts! Stay firmly planted in our Lord. Seek His Kingdom and its righteousness *first, then be assured that no weapons formed against you shall ever prosper. Our Lord is the Lifeline to all believers. Follow Him faithfully.
*first: place our Lord above everyone and every wants in your life.

As He is faithful to you, be faithful to Him. Remember Jesus is the Groom and you are His bride. Jesus is zealous over His bride requiring fidelity.

Have complete faith in Jesus!
