Praying in Jesus Name. Amen.
We rejoice with you as you celebrate your husband's birthday today and we join you in thanking God for his life and for the gift of your marriage. We thank God that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.
We praise God for your husband and for your covenant of marriage, which God ordained as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman for His glory. We are encouraged by your love for him and your desire to cover him in prayer. The husband is called to love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25 and the wife is called to respect and support her husband as you are doing so faithfully.
We pray together for him on this birthday. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the life You have given to this dear husband and for allowing him to see another year by Your grace. We ask that You bless him and keep him, that You make Your face to shine upon him and be gracious to him, that You lift up Your countenance upon him and give him peace Numbers 6:24-26. We ask that You teach him to number his days, that he may gain a heart of wisdom Psalm 90:12 and that You satisfy him with a long life and show him Your salvation Psalm 91:16. Fill him with strength and health, draw him ever closer to You, and help him to walk in Your ways and lead his home in love and godliness. We pray that every good gift and every perfect gift that comes from You James 1:17 would be evident in his life this coming year, and that his marriage would continue to be strengthened and to honor You. We ask that You guide him as he trusts in You with all his heart and does not lean on his own understanding, and that You direct his paths as he acknowledges You Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus.
We encourage you to continue to celebrate this day with thanksgiving, for This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it Psalm 118:24. Continue to pray together, to seek the Lord together, and to build your marriage upon Christ who is the foundation. No spiritual blessing comes by chance, but all comes from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, and so we ask that the double blessing of grace and peace may rest upon him richly.
May the Lord give him a new heart and put a new spirit within him, and cause him to walk in His statutes with joy. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
