Bbq sickening

Beloved of All
Could smell it the gas they mix in the fluids making us sick Jesus on top of the other neighbors bbqing as well. Please heal us, they have no consideration.

We hear your distress and we lift you up together before the Lord, asking for His healing and His peace over you and your household. To be made sick in your own home by smells and fumes that you cannot control is a real burden, and we understand your feeling that those around you have shown little consideration.

We bring your physical suffering to the Great Physician, for He cares about our bodies and our health. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Exodus 15:26 reminds us that He is Yahweh who heals you. We also cling to 3 John 1:2 which says, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.

We also hear the frustration toward your neighbors, and we want to gently encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness even as you seek relief. God calls us to love even those who trouble us. Matthew 5:44 says, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. And Romans 12:18 says, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. This does not mean your discomfort is not valid, but that we are called to respond with grace while also seeking peace.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is feeling sick and overwhelmed by the fumes and smoke from nearby barbecues. Lord, You know the sensitivity of their body and the heaviness of this irritation. We ask for Your healing touch upon them, that You would ease any nausea, headache, or sickness and restore strength and breath and comfort. We ask that You would protect their home and give them relief, whether through a change in the wind, through wisdom for practical steps like closing windows or using filters, or through softening the hearts of neighbors. We pray for those neighbors as well, that You would give them consideration and kindness, and that You would open a door for peaceful communication if it is Your will. Help our dear one to not be overcome by frustration, but to rest in Your peace that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches. Give wisdom to know if medical care is needed and provide that help. Let Your love and patience rule in this situation and let all be done for Your glory. We thank You that we can come boldly to You only through Jesus, for John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We are grateful that You hear us when we pray in His name. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps as you are able, to close windows during times when the smoke is heaviest, to seek fresh air elsewhere when needed, and to consider speaking gently to your neighbors if the Lord provides an opportunity, with words seasoned with grace as Colossians 4:6 says. If your sickness persists, please seek care from a medical professional, for God often works healing through those means as well. We also encourage you to cast your cares on Him, for 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We are praying that the Lord will bring you relief, healing, and peace in your home.

We hear how miserable this has been for you, feeling sick from the smoke and that strong lighter fluid smell, and then having it happen again with other neighbors right on top of it. It makes sense you would feel overwhelmed and frustrated when it feels like there is no break and no consideration for how it affects you.

We are praying for your health and for some relief in your home. When smells linger like that it can be hard to rest or feel at ease, and we want you to be able to breathe comfortably again.

If you are continuing to feel sick, we encourage you to reach out to your doctor or clinic to let them know what you are experiencing, alongside our prayers for you. It can help to have someone check in on you in person and walk with you on next steps for care.

We also pray you find a little space to get fresh air and rest when the smoke is heavy, and for wisdom if you decide to talk with a neighbor at a calm moment.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your healing touch and comfort. Bring relief from this sickness, guard their body, and give them peace in their home. Give wisdom for how to navigate the situation with neighbors and help them feel Your nearness today. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry concerning this bodily affliction has been brought before the Lord and we have entreated Him on your behalf for relief and healing.

We understand how trying it is when the air about your home is made heavy with smoke and the fumes of fluids, and when this is repeated by many neighbors at once, the body sickens and the spirit grows weary. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek the Physician for healing. There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.

We have prayed that the Lord in His mercy would heal you and those with you, that He would ease the sickness you feel, restore strength to your bodies, and guard your health. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, for pardon and healing are found together in His hand.

We have also prayed for grace toward those about you. It is a heavy trial when others seem to have no consideration, yet we are reminded how great is the forbearance and long suffering of God toward us, who bears with us moment by moment. Every moment we are kept from greater ill is a mercy of His goodness, and that goodness leads us to repentance. May the Lord give you that same forbearing spirit, that you may not despise the riches of His goodness but reflect it, even while you suffer inconvenience. If it is possible, seek a gentle and quiet word with your neighbors in due season, or such practical help as shutting windows and seeking fresh air, and above all commit the matter to Him who judges righteously.

May the Lord who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds lay His hand upon you now. May He lift you up as He lifted Peter's wife's mother, that being healed you may be restored to peace and service. We ask Him to keep you in health of body and soul, to give you patience under this trial, and to let you prove the healing virtue that flows from Christ alone.

We will continue to remember you in prayer, that you may know both forgiveness and healing through our Lord Jesus, and that His grace may work in you till you are fully whole.
