We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father waits with open arms to comfort and strengthen you. Health anxiety can feel overwhelming, like a storm raging within, but we stand with you in faith, declaring that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The physical sensations you describe are real to you, but we rebuke the spirit of fear that magnifies them beyond what is true. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you feel His presence like a warm embrace, reminding you that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When the waves of anxiety rise, we encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Speak His Word aloud, declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that He bore your infirmities and carried your diseases (Matthew 8:17).
We also urge you to take practical steps to combat this anxiety. Renew your mind with Scripture daily (Romans 12:2), and cast every care upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If this anxiety persists, consider seeking godly counsel or medical support, there is no shame in asking for help. But above all, we pray that your faith would grow stronger, that you would trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He knows the plans He has for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our dear brother/sister, asking that You calm their anxious heart and fill them with Your perfect peace. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that it has no place in their life. Strengthen their faith, Father, and help them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Remind them that You are their healer, their protector, and their ever-present help. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to You, and it is through His sacrifice that we are saved. Amen.
