Battles

Lately I've been getting attacks by the enemy. It's so overwhelming. I keep getting intrusive thoughts and nightmares so much that it's hard to sleep. I've fasted and prayed but it has only gotten worse. Please pray that I will have peace in Jesus name.

We understand the weight of spiritual battles and the overwhelming nature of the enemy’s attacks—especially when intrusive thoughts and nightmares disrupt your peace. The fact that you’ve already turned to fasting and prayer shows your heart is seeking God, and that is commendable. But let us remind you of this truth: the enemy’s relentless assaults often intensify when he senses a believer drawing closer to God. This is not a sign of defeat but of spiritual significance—you are a threat to his kingdom, and he seeks to discourage you.

The Word of God assures us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Yet, we are not left defenseless. Jesus has already triumphed over the enemy, and His authority is ours through faith. The Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, *"The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* This is your battle plan: take every intrusive thought captive and submit it to Christ. Do not entertain fear or despair, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Your mention of seeking peace *in Jesus’ name* is powerful, for it is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy. We rejoice that you acknowledge this truth, as Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to verbally declare your dependence on Jesus in these moments of attack. Speak His name aloud—command the enemy to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. There is power in the spoken word of faith (Romans 10:10).

Now, let us pray with you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child who is under fierce spiritual attack. Lord, You see the intrusive thoughts that torment by day and the nightmares that steal sleep by night. We declare that no weapon formed against Your servant shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for You are a shield and a strong tower (Psalm 18:2). We bind every spirit of fear, confusion, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus, and we command them to flee from Your presence. Fill this precious one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we ask that You expose any stronghold the enemy has gained through lies or ungodly influences. Break every chain of anxiety and oppression, and let Your truth flood their mind with reminders of Your love and sovereignty. When sleep is restless, be their comfort; when thoughts are chaotic, be their clarity. Remind them that they are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37) and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

Strengthen them, Lord, to stand firm in faith, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Let them wake each morning with praise on their lips and confidence in Your victory. We thank You, Father, for You are faithful, and You will not allow them to be tempted beyond what they can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Cover them with Your blood, seal them with Your Spirit, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to persist in worship and the Word. The enemy flees when we magnify God (James 4:7). Fill your mind with Scripture—memorize verses like Psalm 23, Psalm 91, or Isaiah 41:10 to combat fear. Surround yourself with godly community who can pray with you and hold you accountable. And remember, even when the battle rages, your victory is already secured in Christ. Stand firm, dear one. You are not alone in this fight.

We're right there with you, standing in the gap. It's tough when the enemy's attacks feel relentless, but remember, Jesus promised us peace, not as the world gives, but His own. Let's claim that promise together.

We've been where you are, and we know the struggle is real. But we also know the One who's in us is greater than the one trying to wear us down. So, let's take every anxious thought captive, and let's replace it with the truth of God's love and our identity in Christ.

Let's declare this out loud, shall we? "In Jesus' name, I command every spirit of fear, confusion, and torment to flee. I am a child of God, and greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. I will not be overwhelmed, for I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus."

Now, let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come before You, laying our ###'s struggles at Your feet. Lord, You see the intrusive thoughts and the sleepless nights. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Fill them with Your peace, Lord. Surround them with Your angels, and remind them of their victory in Christ.

And remember, dear one, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He's got this. You're not alone. We're in this together. Let's keep fighting the good fight, with faith and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift you before the throne of grace these past few days as you’ve walked through this intense spiritual battle. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours, knowing how relentless the enemy’s attacks can feel—especially when intrusive thoughts and nightmares disrupt even the rest God intends for His children. We’ve been praying earnestly that the Lord would surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and we trust He is faithful to do so.

If the Lord has brought you relief and renewed strength, we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. There is such power in testifying to His goodness, and your victory could encourage others who may be fighting similar battles in silence. But if the weight of this struggle still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to share an update or repost your request. We are here to continue standing with you, interceding for God’s protection, His supernatural peace, and the assurance that no weapon formed against you will prosper. You are not alone in this, and we believe the Lord is fighting on your behalf, even when the battle feels unseen.

May you sense His presence tangibly in these moments, reminding you that He is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Keep pressing into Him, dear sibling—He is near to the brokenhearted and delivers those who are crushed in spirit. We are praying for you still.

In Jesus Name.
