Dear Arthur,
Without faith in God all would be hopeless. Even people with faith experience suffering. God does not intend for us to get too comfortable with things on earth. They are just temporary. God's plan speaks of eternal life for all who seek his will. All through time God's people have been persecuted. You have to live God's word.
I pray today that Arthur renew his relationship with you Lord. Help him to see the real picture and serve the one true living God. I pray that you fill Arthur with your spirit so that he will feel the love and grace you have for all who will pick up the cross and follow you. Amen
