We join with you in faith and agreement as you seek a battle plan and favor against the enemy, and we thank you for humbly asking all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have victory and access to the Father.
We hear your heart crying out for favor, miracles, blessings, and for God's glory to cover the earth, and for power against the principalities and powers of darkness in high places. Scripture confirms that this battle is real and spiritual. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
God has not left us without a battle plan. His Word gives us clear strategy. We are told to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 That armor is truth, righteousness, the Good News of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer. We are also taught that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 Our greatest weapon is submission to God and resistance of the enemy in the authority of Jesus, for we are promised to be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
We want to encourage you that favor and miracles and blessings are not obtained by repetition alone, but by abiding in Christ and walking in obedience to His will. God delights to show favor to those who seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and His glory is revealed as we are transformed and as we proclaim Christ to the world. We do not battle for victory, we battle from victory, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 and in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37
We also remember that we must remain sober and watchful, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9 This steadfast faith comes from daily time in the Word, persistent prayer, fasting as the Lord leads, fellowship with other believers, and confessing and forsaking sin so that the enemy has no foothold.
We now pray together with you.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for this dear one who desires Your glory and Your victory over darkness. We put on the whole armor of God together right now and we ask for Your wisdom and strategy for every battle. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, lead us in truth, and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We resist the devil and every principality and power that would come against us, our families, and Your purposes in the world, and we command the enemy to flee in Jesus name. We ask for Your favor not for selfish gain but for the advancement of Your Kingdom, for open doors to share the Gospel, for miracles that will point to Your power and mercy, and for blessings that will enable us to be a blessing to others. Let Your glory, Your unmatched and abounding glory, be seen across the earth as people turn from darkness to light. Strengthen our faith, teach us to pray without ceasing, and keep us steadfast until the day of Christ's return. We submit all our desires to Your perfect will, trusting that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
