Christ sets spiritual captives free by opening blind eyes, breaking sin’s chains, and lifting the despondent into hope.
Light for Those Who Sit in Darkness
Even the deepest darkness of ignorance and despair gives way to Christ’s great light for those who see him.
Satan On His Travels
Satan roams the earth spreading chaos and demands your vigilance against his deceptions.
We join with you in faith and agreement as you seek a battle plan and favor against the enemy, and we thank you for humbly asking all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have victory and access to the Father.

We hear your heart crying out for favor, miracles, blessings, and for God's glory to cover the earth, and for power against the principalities and powers of darkness in high places. Scripture confirms that this battle is real and spiritual. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

God has not left us without a battle plan. His Word gives us clear strategy. We are told to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 That armor is truth, righteousness, the Good News of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer. We are also taught that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 Our greatest weapon is submission to God and resistance of the enemy in the authority of Jesus, for we are promised to be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

We want to encourage you that favor and miracles and blessings are not obtained by repetition alone, but by abiding in Christ and walking in obedience to His will. God delights to show favor to those who seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and His glory is revealed as we are transformed and as we proclaim Christ to the world. We do not battle for victory, we battle from victory, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 and in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37

We also remember that we must remain sober and watchful, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9 This steadfast faith comes from daily time in the Word, persistent prayer, fasting as the Lord leads, fellowship with other believers, and confessing and forsaking sin so that the enemy has no foothold.

We now pray together with you.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for this dear one who desires Your glory and Your victory over darkness. We put on the whole armor of God together right now and we ask for Your wisdom and strategy for every battle. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, lead us in truth, and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We resist the devil and every principality and power that would come against us, our families, and Your purposes in the world, and we command the enemy to flee in Jesus name. We ask for Your favor not for selfish gain but for the advancement of Your Kingdom, for open doors to share the Gospel, for miracles that will point to Your power and mercy, and for blessings that will enable us to be a blessing to others. Let Your glory, Your unmatched and abounding glory, be seen across the earth as people turn from darkness to light. Strengthen our faith, teach us to pray without ceasing, and keep us steadfast until the day of Christ's return. We submit all our desires to Your perfect will, trusting that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how much you want to stand firm and see God's goodness cover your life and the world around you. That longing to be on the Lord's side and to walk in His favor is a good place to be.

One thing we have learned over time is that the battle you describe is less about finding perfect words or intensity and more about steady, daily walking with Jesus. It is like training rather than a single moment of trying. Small faithful habits, praying honestly, staying in fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and for you, and keeping your life open before God, form a sturdy foundation when opposition feels strong. You do not have to carry this alone or fight in isolation.

A simple next step that helps many is to invite one or two trusted believers or a pastor to know you are praying in this way, so you have others standing with you regularly, not just in a moment, but week by week.

Father, we lift our brother to You and thank You for his desire to honor You. Cover him with Your presence, give him wisdom and peace as he seeks You, and lead him step by step in Your will. Guard his heart and home, and let him know Your nearness each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your request has been heard and we join with you in prayer against the adversary and for the favor of God which alone can keep us.

You ask for a battle plan and for favor against Satan, and for blessing and glory. Let us set the battle in its true order, for the Word teaches us where our strength lies. It is written that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places, and it is also written that the devil knows his time is short and therefore he rages with great wrath. Do not be surprised if he rages against you, but rather take comfort that his rage is a token that his time is short and that Christ has already seen him fall like lightning from heaven.

The true battle plan is not found in our own resolve but in Christ. What can you do against Satan? You would gladly be rid of him. Do nothing but this, cry to his Master against him. Satan is mighty, set the Almighty One upon him. He accuses you, refer him to your Advocate. He brings your sin before you, throw the blood of atonement in his face. That sharp two edged sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God is to be in your hand, and faith in the inspiration and truth of Scripture is to be held fast. When sin loses its sweetness, Satan is losing his power, and when you steal away to pray and ask for a guarantee of ejectment against him, he knows his tenant is leaving his house.

You have asked for favor and for miracles and for blessings. Hear what the apostle says, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Temporal blessings are not definite marks of divine favor, since God gives them to the unworthy as well as to the righteous, and they do not last long, they are soon gone. But spiritual blessings are the rarest, the richest, the most enduring of all blessings, priceless in value. All spiritual blessings come from the Father and He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ. Therefore we pray not merely for outward prosperity but for the covenant blessings which the Lord has promised, a new heart also will I give you, and I will put my Spirit within you. The Holy Spirit cannot dwell in the old heart, but the Lord gives a new heart and causes us to walk in His ways and to be kept against all hazards till He brings us safe into His eternal kingdom.

So we stand with you in faith and agreement and pray thus with thanksgiving.

O Lord God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we bless Thee for all spiritual blessings in Christ. Forgive us our sins through the blood of Thy Son, grant us freedom from bondage and the favor that belongs to those who are in Christ. Give to this Thy servant a new heart and put Thy Spirit within, that Satan may find no chamber to dwell in. Let Thy love which conquered our stubborn hearts subdue us still and make sin appear exceeding sinful as Christ appears exceeding lovely. We set the Almighty against the adversary, we plead the blood of atonement and the intercession of our Advocate, and we take up the Word of truth as our sword. Guard this soul against frowns and flatteries, against prosperity and adversity, and let no weapon formed against Thy child prosper. Lead Thou the van and crush the foe before we come to him, and let angels minister where Satan has departed. All this we humbly ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
