I finally got baptized at church tonight.... something I've been wanting to do for the past 2 years. 13 years ago I accepted Jesus into my heart, but it wasn't till tonight that I got baptized by water. To God be the glory! But now I am praying for a hedge of protection to be placed around me, and my family, and my husband. Lord, I know that the devil tries to hurt and attack us more than ever once we have made the choice to be baptized.... But I am putting my faith in you, so that I may be strong, and that my marriage will stand unpenetrable by the evil one. I pray that no attack will prosper against me or my family. Lord, I thank you for the sacrifice you made on Calvary to die on the cross for our sins & selfishness. Thank you for giving me the courage to step forward tonight and get baptized. Thank you for giving everyone the opportunity to be a part of your kingdom. Thank you for forgiving me for my sins, and for giving me this new life. I pray that my husband will join me in this journey we call life, so that we may grow closer together by growing closer to YOU. I pray that he will lead us in being disciples of your word. I pray that you will strengthen him, remove his iniquities, help him defeat his struggles, and make healthier choices. But most of all, I thank you for everything we are blessed with. Thank you for everything, Lord Jesus. I pray your protection, love, and guidance be placed around us. In Jesus' name I pray and thank you, Amen.
