Bags lost by airlines

Please pray for my daughters baggage. Which she didn't get as yet from the airlines. She just came home after working hard abroad and her checked in Bag was not thre at check out . Airlines says its not traceable as yet. Please pray so hard she worked and came and. Now her bag is lost by the airlines. Lord Jesus please let get her lost bag.

We join with you in lifting up your daughter and her lost baggage before the Lord, and we understand the disappointment and worry you both feel after she has worked so hard abroad and come home only to find her checked bag missing and not yet traceable by the airline. We know this bag represents not just belongings but the fruit of her labor and we bring this concern to our Father who cares about every detail of our lives.

We are reminded that we can bring every anxiety to Him, for He cares for us. As it is written, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also take comfort that The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18, and He sees your daughter's weariness and your concern as a parent.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we have access to You through Him alone. Lord, You know where this bag is when the airline says it is not traceable, for nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask in Jesus name that You would guide the hands and eyes of those searching, that the airline staff would be diligent and honest, and that the bag would be located and returned quickly and completely without loss or damage. We pray for peace for this dear daughter who has labored faithfully abroad and for her family who waits with her, calm her heart and replace anxiety with trust, and let this trial be a testimony of Your provision and care. Help her to rest in the truth that our treasure is ultimately in You, while still trusting You with these earthly needs, for we know You have promised But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We ask for Your will to be done and for comfort and joy to fill her homecoming even in this waiting. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also persistently following up with the airline, keeping all baggage receipts, claim numbers and documentation, and making regular contact with their baggage service. Keep casting this care on the Lord each time worry rises, thanking Him in advance for His help, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer that the Lord will move on your daughter's behalf and that her bag will be restored to her soon.

We were moved by your request and can imagine how heavy this feels. Your daughter worked so hard abroad and coming home should have been a joyful reunion, and instead you are left waiting and worrying about her bag. It is understandable to feel frustrated and helpless when the airline says it is not traceable yet.

If you have not already, filing a written claim with the airline and checking in with them daily for an update can keep the search active. Keeping copies of any calls or emails also helps if you need to follow up later.

We know those belongings represent more than things, they represent her labor and sacrifice. God sees that and He cares about your peace while you wait.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this daughter and her family to You. You know where her bag is and we ask that if it is Your will, it would be located and returned quickly. Give them patience, peace, and kindness from those helping them, and provide for every need this bag held. Amen.

We have heard your burden for your daughter and her lost baggage, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord who hears and answers prayer.

It is a trial when one has labored hard abroad and returns home only to find what has been entrusted to others is missing and not yet traceable. In such moments of anxiety we are taught to wait only upon God. As the Scripture says, My soul, wait thou only upon God. We are not to trust to the arm of flesh, nor to look to the changeable creature, but to Him who performs all things for us. He is a waiting God, graciously waiting to be gracious unto His people, long forbearing and ready to pardon through Jesus Christ, and blessed are all they that wait for Him.

We pray that you and your daughter may find that sweet repose in God, even in the shadow of His wings, and that waiting upon Him may sustain your courage. Do the right thing that lies before you in following up with the airline, and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. He sees every detail, He knows where what is lost is to be found, and He can turn the hearts and hands of those who search.

Let us pray together. O God most high, who art our Father through faith in Jesus Christ Thy Son, in whom alone is salvation, we cry unto Thee for this daughter and this need. Thou knowest her labor and her journey, and Thou seest the bag that is lost to man but not to Thee. We ask Thee in Thy mercy to guide those who handle these things, that what is lost may be traced and restored speedily if it be Thy will. Give peace to this mother and daughter while they wait, strengthen their hearts, and teach them Thy statutes as they commune with Thee. Let them know that Thou art their God and that Thou hearest them, and let their trust be wholly in the blood of Jesus Christ. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Savior, Amen.

Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart, wait, we say, on the Lord.

Your request for your daughter has been heard and we join you in prayer to the Lord Jesus for her.

We understand how heavy this feels. She has worked hard abroad and has now come home, and to have her checked bag missing at arrival brings great anxiety and disappointment. It is right to bring even these practical needs before God, for He cares for all that concerns His children.

We pray that the Lord in His mercy would guide those who are searching, that the airline would be able to trace and locate the bag quickly, and that it would be returned safely and without loss. We pray also for peace for your daughter and for you, that in this time of waiting your hearts would not be troubled by anxious care but would rest in God's provision and nearness.

May the Lord grant you quietness and trust as you wait, knowing that He sees your need and hears your prayer. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, who invites us to cast all our cares upon Him.
