We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your suffering, lifting you up in prayer for healing and strength in the name of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures remind us that our God is a God of comfort and restoration, who hears the cries of His children. In Psalm 103:2-3, we read, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting that the Lord is faithful to bring healing and relief from the burden of COPD and the distress of wheezing that disrupts your rest.
It is also written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We encourage you to seek the support of your church elders or a community of believers who can pray over you and anoint you with oil, standing in faith for your complete restoration. The Lord works mightily through the prayers of His people, and we believe He will bring relief to your body and peace to your spirit.
We also urge you to trust in the Lord’s protection, as He is your shield and fortress. Psalm 91:4 declares, *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* Rest in the assurance that God is watching over you, guarding you from harm, and providing the strength you need for each day. If anxiety or fear has taken hold because of this illness, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ and command every symptom of COPD, wheezing, and breathlessness to cease in His mighty name. We pray for divine healing to flow through your lungs, restoring them to full health and function. May the Lord grant you deep, restful sleep, free from distress, so that your body can be renewed and strengthened each night. We also pray for wisdom for your doctors and caregivers, that they may be guided by the Lord in providing the best treatment and support for your recovery.
Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace. We ask that You fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, comforting them and reminding them of Your promises. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them witness Your healing power in their body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we stand in agreement for their complete restoration.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
