Bad Step-Parent

I am asking for prayer for myself- see I am praying that the Lord forgives me- and to clear my heart- I want to ask for prayer also- I am a terrible stepmother- I am second place to my husbands son- and so I hold resentment towards the boy because of the way my husband treats me by putting the boy first- he lies to me about everything and lets his son do whatever he pleases- and when I try to step in and say anything- I get mad and hold resentment in my heart for his son- I go days without talking to him because I feel that whatever I say is held against me so therefore I say nothing at all- I am asking for prayer that I will learn to love him and stop being a horrible stepmother- and I want to change the way I am and stop resenting him- I am taking a step forward admitting my guilt and confessing my sins so in Jesus Christ Holy name- please forgive me and change my heart and please forgive me for being a bad stepmother-thank you

God gives us blessings in so many ways...and to be given a child to teach in the way they should go is what God not only expects but demands parents to do to their children...when you married you became a "mother" and was handed a gift from God. above all you will be judged by God for everything you teach this child...You are a child of the King most precious in His sight..what do you think God is seeing in you?...what kind of jealousy have you allowed to take place in your mind...you should be proud that your husband is such a good dad...his son is there with you for a season! what is there to share? your husband...if anyone is sharing it is that child...you came into his life..not by choice...of coarse he wants to prove his dad's love....he is insecure...but because of how you are acting it is confirmed in his mind that you WANT to take his dad away from him...you are also putting your husband in a weird place....how can he even give you all when you are going against his seed...his seed!..get over your husband having a wife or girlfriend in the past...the bible says when you have your hands on the plow don't look back..you know why? because what is before you is not getting planted right....keep your eyes on Jesus and bless your heart that you are confessing...no condemnation....conviction....just step into righteousness...sit down with the two people who ARE the most important in your life...set your house in order and be all you can be for Christ...and he is still a child he most likely will not trust you in the beginning just show unconditional love and show GOD and his heart will change...it's your job as a parent to guide in love.....tell him how you feel (truth) in front of dad and all of you together make it new way and family..humble yourself for blessings...talk from your heart after all this is your family...the benefits from this will go from generation to generation...don't miss out on a life of beauty and love...you see I am a step mom too and I love my stepson like my own...he knows it too...sometimes I don't like him and his "teen" years...but I didn't like my own kids at that time either...kids are tuff...but when they grow up and they choose God..there really is something about that...and my own kids were "crazy & rebellious" but all 3 found their own way to GOD...God bless my sister and just love...

Remember God is in control. Trust Him. Trusting in God is also trusting in God’s Timing, God’s Will, and God’s plan. May God encourage you, meet every need, and fulfill all His plans for You and all those you love and care about. May Jesus shine on you ever so brightly that it feels like his arms are around you in person.
