Bad First Impression

I've have a heavy heart knowing my sister is angry at me for feeling that her new boyfriend treated me bad during our introduction. He seemed annoyed and didn't make eye contact while I tried talking to him. He flat out ignored me so I left her house and she felt he was just shy. She wasn't in the same room and it was just rudeness like I was imposing on them. I was only there for 5 minutes. Meeting your girlfriend's brother for the first time you would think about making a good impression maybe? God I need discernment if this wasn't what it seemed, a passive-aggressive move on his part or me not. She told me before meeting him that people thought he was not very personable and people were confused as I am. She wants me to not feel this way but something uncomfortable happened and I can't ignore it happened. Jesus what do I do? I really don't have a good feel about this guy.
