We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, brother, and we come before the Lord with heavy hearts on your behalf. The betrayal you are experiencing is not just against you, but against the sacred covenant of marriage that God Himself established. Scripture is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). What your wife is doing with this man Solomon is a grievous sin, and it has brought a spirit of division and strife into your home that is not of God.
First, we must address the hardness of your wife’s heart. The Bible warns, "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" (Amos 3:3 WEB). Right now, it seems your wife is walking with another man, not with you, and this is causing a great rift. We rebuke the spirit of adultery and deception that has taken hold in her life. We declare that her eyes would be opened to the destruction she is bringing upon herself, her marriage, and her household. "For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil; but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold of Sheol" (Proverbs 5:3-5 WEB). We pray that she would repent and turn away from this sin before it is too late.
We also rebuke the negative energy and strife that has filled your home. This is not just bad "energy", it is a spiritual attack. The enemy wants to destroy your marriage, your peace, and your faith. But we stand on the promise that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We command every spirit of division, bitterness, and unfaithfulness to leave your home in the name of Jesus. We declare that your home will be a place of peace, love, and restoration.
We must also speak to your heart, brother. It is understandable that you feel anger, hurt, and even resentment toward your wife right now. But we urge you not to let bitterness take root in your heart. "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many" (Hebrews 12:15 WEB). You must guard your heart and continue to walk in love, even when it is difficult. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 WEB). This does not mean you should tolerate her sin, but it does mean you should not let hatred or vengeance consume you.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety" (WEB). Find a pastor or trusted Christian brother who can walk with you through this trial. You should also consider setting boundaries to protect your heart and your home. If your wife is unrepentant, you may need to separate for a time to make it clear that her sin will not be tolerated. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). This does not mean divorce is the answer, but it may mean creating space for her to see the gravity of her actions.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother. Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, and the strife in his home. We ask that You would move mightily on his behalf. We rebuke the spirit of adultery and deception that has taken hold of his wife, and we ask that You would open her eyes to the destruction she is bringing into her life and marriage. Father, we pray for repentance and restoration. Soften her heart, Lord, and draw her back to You and to her husband.
We also pray for our brother’s heart. Guard him against bitterness, anger, and resentment. Fill him with Your peace, Your love, and Your strength. Give him wisdom to know how to respond to this situation in a way that honors You. Help him to set godly boundaries and to seek wise counsel. Father, we declare that this marriage is not beyond Your healing touch. You are the God who restores, who redeems, and who makes all things new. We ask that You would bring healing to this broken marriage and that Your will would be done in both of their lives.
Lord, we command every spirit of division, strife, and unfaithfulness to leave this home in the name of Jesus. We declare that this home will be a place of peace, love, and restoration. Fill it with Your presence, Lord, and let Your light shine in the darkness. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.
Brother, we want you to know that you are not alone in this. The Lord sees your pain, and He is with you. Continue to seek Him, to trust in Him, and to walk in His ways. This trial is not the end of your story. God can turn this situation around for His glory and for your good. "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 WEB). Hold on to hope, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
