We understand that you are facing a trying time with bad dreams, injustice, and sickness, and we stand with you in prayer and counsel. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB: "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the Lord Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through Him that we can be saved and live a life of eternal peace. Jesus demonstrated the basic salvation message in John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
In times of injustice and persecution, it is essential to remember that God is our ultimate judge and protector. As it is written in Romans 12:19 WEB: "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord." We encourage you to trust in God's justice and timing, knowing that He sees your struggles and will fight for you.
Regarding your concerns about civil rights and housing discrimination, we advise you to gather evidence and seek legal counsel if necessary. Additionally, pray for wisdom and guidance, as directed in James 1:5 WEB: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Addressing the bad dreams, we encourage you to pray for peace and protection before sleeping. Remember the words of Psalm 4:8 WEB: "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." If the dreams persist, it may be helpful to seek counsel from a trusted Christian friend or mentor to discuss their potential meaning or cause.
Lastly, concerning sickness, we pray for your healing and encourage you to trust in God's ability to restore your health. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17 WEB: "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord; because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing injustice, persecution, bad dreams, and sickness. We pray for Your divine intervention and protection, knowing that You are a God of justice and righteousness. Guide them through this challenging time, and grant them the wisdom and strength to persevere. Heal their body and mind, and give them peace from disturbing dreams. We ask that You bring resolution to their housing discrimination and civil rights concerns, and that Your will be done in all aspects of their life. We rebuke anything not in alignment with your will and stand against it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
