Bad Decision

[Scam victim]

Dear lord please show mercy on my friend's ### year old son. He was caught hanging with a bad person he thought was his friend. This friend had been involved in several home burglaries that my friend's son knew nothing about. He and his buddy entered a neighbor's home after playing basketball in the yard. The neighbor wasn't home. My friend's son took a bottle of water and $###. He was arrested and put into juvenile detention until his parents were able to retrieve him. This boy has never been in trouble before. He plays in the band, participates in football and is an above average student. His case has been turned over to the state and they are charging him with a felony. There is a possibility he will be taken from his home. Please God I ask that you show mercy on him and his family so no more damage is done and that they may move on from this experience with renewed faith and hope.

Your friend's son needs an attorney. I pray that he has a good one to help with fairness in this situation, for the punishment to fit the crime, for the boys involved to learn their lesson and to stay on the straight path. In Jesus name, amen.
