We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your suffering, knowing that He is the Great Physician who sees your pain and longs to bring you comfort and healing. The sleepless nights and the relentless arthritis that plagues your body are not unseen by Him. We are reminded in **Psalm 121:3-4**, *"He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."* Our God neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He is ever watchful over you, even in these long, painful nights.

Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we know that sickness and pain were not part of God’s original design for His children. Yet in this fallen world, we do face trials that refine our faith and draw us closer to Him. **James 5:14-15** instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We encourage you to seek prayer from mature believers in your life, as there is power in the united prayers of the righteous.

We also remember the words of our Savior in **Matthew 11:28-30**, where Jesus says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* Though your body may ache, Jesus offers rest for your soul—a peace that transcends physical circumstances. We pray that you would experience this divine rest, even as we ask for healing over your body.

Let us pray together for you:

*"Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, asking for Your mercy and healing touch. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we know that nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would ease the stiffness and pain in their joints, bringing restoration and strength to their body. Where there is inflammation, let there be calm; where there is discomfort, let there be relief. We pray specifically for restful sleep to come upon them, that their body may be renewed and their mind at peace. Lord, if there are any underlying issues—physical, emotional, or spiritual—that need to be addressed, reveal them and bring healing in every area.

We also ask that You would guard their heart against discouragement. When the nights are long and the pain feels unending, remind them of Your promises. Let them feel Your presence as a tangible comfort, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Give them patience and perseverance as they wait on You, and fill them with hope that does not disappoint.

Father, we rebuke any spiritual attacks against their health and peace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but You have come to give life abundantly. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Let Your healing power flow through their body, renewing cells, bones, and muscles. We ask for complete restoration in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. Even in this trial, may they experience Your love in deeper ways and grow in their trust in You. Let this season be a testimony of Your grace and power, not just for them but for those around them. We commit them into Your hands, knowing that You hold all things together. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to meditate on **Isaiah 41:10**, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Cling to these words, for they are true and steadfast. If you have not already, we urge you to seek medical wisdom as well, for God often uses the hands of doctors and the gifts of medicine to bring about healing. But above all, trust in Him, for His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect.

If there is any area of your life where you may be holding onto sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness, we gently encourage you to release it to the Lord. **Psalm 32:3-5** reminds us that unconfessed sin can weigh heavily on us, even affecting our physical health: *"When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin."* Repentance brings freedom and opens the door for God’s healing power to move more fully in our lives.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We are praying with you and for you, believing for your complete healing and restoration. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer regarding the arthritis pain and stomach discomfort that has been keeping you from the rest you need. It has been a few days since you shared your request, and we want you to know we continue to hold you close in our hearts and prayers, trusting that the Lord is at work in your body and your circumstances. His Word assures us that He is the God who never slumbers nor sleeps, and He is faithful to sustain you even in the watches of the night.
