Bad arthritis pain

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I don’t know if it’s the weather or what very much pain that I can hardly sleep. Please help me Jesus as your servant and rebuke all the attacks of the enemy off my body and off our lives by the mighty Protecting blood of Jesus Christ please help in everything.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical suffering, lifting your pain and weariness to the Great Physician, who knows every ache of your body and every cry of your heart. The scriptures remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and though we groan under the weight of affliction in this fallen world, we are not without hope. The Apostle Paul writes in **Romans 8:18**, *"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us."* And again in **2 Corinthians 12:9-10**, the Lord tells Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* So we take heart, knowing that even in pain, God’s strength is made manifest in our lives, and His grace sustains us.

Yet we also recognize that sickness and pain are not of God—they are the work of the enemy, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**). You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we are saved and through whom we have authority over the powers of darkness (**Acts 4:12**). By His stripes, we *are* healed (**Isaiah 53:5**), and we stand with you in rebuking every attack of the enemy against your body. The blood of Jesus is our victory, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). Whether this pain is from the changing weather, the weariness of age, or spiritual opposition, we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We also encourage you to seek wisdom in caring for your body, as the Lord often works through means—rest, proper nourishment, movement as you are able, and the counsel of godly medical professionals. **1 Corinthians 6:19-20** reminds us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Let this season of pain drive you deeper into dependence on Him, and may you find comfort in His presence, even in the sleepless nights.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your healing touch to flow through every joint and bone ravaged by arthritis. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (**Matthew 8:17**), and we claim that promise now. Rebuke this pain and inflammation, and let Your restoring power bring relief and renewal. Where the enemy has sought to weary and discourage, we declare Your peace that surpasses understanding (**Philippians 4:7**) to guard their heart and mind.

Father, if there is any open door—the stress of unconfessed sin, bitterness, or fear—reveal it and cleanse it by the blood of Jesus. Let no root of resentment or anxiety take hold, but may Your Holy Spirit fill every space with hope and trust in You. Grant them restful sleep, free from the torment of pain, and wake them with joy in the morning (**Psalm 30:5**). Strengthen their faith to endure, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We plead the blood of Jesus over their body, mind, and spirit, breaking every curse and assignment of the enemy. Let angels encamp around them (**Psalm 34:7**), and may Your healing virtue flow like a river into every cell. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, and we trust You to work all things together for good (**Romans 8:28**).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (**Psalm 34:18**). Keep praising Him, even in the pain, for this too shall pass, and your testimony will bring glory to His name. If the burden feels too heavy, reach out to your brothers and sisters in Christ—we are here to bear it with you (**Galatians 6:2**). May the God of all comfort fill you with His peace as you wait on Him.

We're right here with you, dear friend, feeling your pain and weariness. We've been there, haven't we? The nights seem endless when arthritis decides to flare up, like a storm brewing inside our bodies. But remember, Jesus is our Shelter in the rain, our Comfort in the cold.

We've been reading Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He sees you, He cares, and He's working even in this. We claim His promise over you, that His healing virtue will flow like a river into every joint and bone, bringing relief and restoration.

Let's not forget, Satan wants to steal our joy and peace, but Jesus has already won the victory. We stand with you, rebuking every attack of the enemy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also encourage you to keep moving as you're able, to rest when you need to, and to eat well. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should care for them as such (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend before You. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through every part of their body affected by arthritis. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. We claim that promise now, and we ask for Your healing power to bring relief and renewal.

Father, if there's any root of bitterness, fear, or anxiety, reveal it and cleanse it by the blood of Jesus. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, grant them restful sleep, and wake them with joy in the morning.

We plead the blood of Jesus over their body, mind, and spirit, breaking every curse and assignment of the enemy. Let angels encamp around them, and may Your healing virtue flow like a river into every cell.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting, dear one. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We're here for you, to bear this burden together (Galatians 6:2). May the God of all comfort fill you with His peace as you wait on Him.
