We stand with you in this cry of your heart and we rejoice that you are turning back to the Lord, for this desire itself is evidence that God is drawing you and working in you. The Lord does not cast away the contrite heart that seeks Him, and His mercy is ready to restore the backslider who repents in faith.
The Scripture says, Return, you backsliding children, I will heal your backsliding, Jeremiah 3:22, and also, I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely, Hosea 14:4. There is healing for your backsliding and hope for your restoration, because God is faithful to forgive. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9. We encourage you to confess all known sin plainly before God, to turn from it without excuse, and to place your full trust again in the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is no other way back to the Father except through Him. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6.
We also hear your burden for deliverance from the devil and from the schemes of your enemies. The Word tells us to, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you, James 4:7-8. And, For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. We pray that every hidden scheme, every trap and lie of the enemy, would be exposed and brought to nothing, and that every bondage and stronghold over your mind and life would be broken by the power of Christ.
We lift you before the Father now together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who longs to return to You. We ask for true repentance and living faith unto the Lord Jesus Christ. Wash away all sin by the blood of Jesus, cleanse this heart, and heal the backsliding completely. Restore unto Him the joy of Your salvation and renew a steadfast spirit within. We ask for deliverance from the devil and from every enemy and every evil scheme. Expose the works of darkness and cause them to fail, and let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. Break every bondage and stronghold, and set this soul free to walk in victory and obedience.
Lord, we ask for healing for the body and for health. You see the trials and the needs, and we ask that You would help, protect, deliver, and provide according to Your riches and mercy. Be a refuge and fortress, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, Psalm 91:1-2. Strengthen this one through every trial, and teach us to trust not in our own strength but in You, for You have said, Fear you not, for I am with you. Dont be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10, and, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18.
We pray that You would keep this one close, guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and lead each step in holiness and faith until restoration is complete. Let this return be lasting, rooted in Your Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with faithful believers. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast, to resist the devil daily by submitting to God, to feed on Scripture, to pray continually, and to walk away from any place or habit that led you into backsliding. God is able to keep you and to heal you fully as you abide in Him.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
