Please pray fervently on my behalf. I have endured nearly two years of back pain due to sleeping on an old futon. I acquired a new mattress yesterday, which was delivered today. I ask for your strong prayers that this mattress provides me with relief—physical relief and relief for my back. Pray for the healing of my entire spine and body. Pray that my spine aligns properly. I make this request in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We also recognize the importance of wisdom in caring for our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). While the new mattress may bring physical relief, we pray that the Lord would use this time to restore your spine and bring complete healing to your body. James 5:14-15 reminds us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is able to align your spine, ease your pain, and renew your strength.
Father God, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister in Christ who has endured this pain for so long. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit their body together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask that You would touch their spine, their muscles, and every part of their body that has been affected by this discomfort. Bring alignment, restoration, and relief, Lord. Let this new mattress be a tool You use to bring them the rest they need, but more than that, let it be a symbol of Your faithfulness in their life.
We pray against any spirit of weariness or discouragement that may have crept in during this trial. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working even when they cannot see it. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You. We declare healing over their body in the mighty name of Jesus, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May they wake up each morning with renewed hope and diminishing pain, knowing that You are their healer and their strength.
