We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of physical pain and discomfort. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and when it suffers, we know the Lord hears our cries. We stand on the promise that by His stripes, we are healed, and we declare that truth over this situation now.
Father God, we ask for Your healing touch to come upon this body racked with gastritis, acid reflux, and back pain. We rebuke inflammation in the name of Jesus, for it is written, "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17). We declare that this pain is not Your will, and we speak restoration to every cell, joint, and organ affected. Lord, we ask for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers involved, that they may be guided by Your hand in diagnosis and treatment.
We also recognize that physical affliction can weigh heavily on the spirit. We pray for strength and peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May there be no room for fear or despair, only trust in the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3).
If there are areas of life contributing to this stress or physical strain—whether in diet, posture, worry, or sin—we encourage repentance and seeking godly counsel. The Lord disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6), and sometimes our pain is a call to draw nearer to Him. We pray for discernment to hear His voice and the courage to obey.
We declare in the mighty name of Jesus that this suffering will not define the days ahead. We speak wholeness to the digestive system, strength to the back and hips, and full mobility restored. May this trial turn to testimony, and may God’s name be glorified in the healing that follows.
Lord, we thank You that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust You to carry this burden and bring comfort that only You can provide. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
