On February of last year my daughter, Faith (4), broke her nose falling down the steps of our apartment. We took her to the emergency room and had her checked out. The next day she had to go back to the hospital because her nose started to bleed again and we were told that if this happened to rush her back in because it could be a concussion. They took her in to get a CT SCAN and found a mass in her brain. You could imagine the hurt I felt. They recommended that we take her to get an MRI. We waited in the emergency room of Children's Hospital for 6 hours before they finally took her back in to get it done. After a few more hours we get the results. They say it is an abnormal blood vessel in her brain. Something that needs to be monitored so it won't get any bigger. She is asked to go in every 6 moths to get it checked just to make sure everything is ok. This past MRI didn't end up so well. The doctor takes us back to his office and tells us that it looks a little more 'fluffy' than it did before and that he didn't know what this meant. He goes on to tell us that he still need to talk to the radiologist and then get with his board to review the findings and we will discuss what our nest step will be. I give him a call a week later and his assistant tells me that due to his busy schedule he did not make it in time to get added on to the agenda for the meeting the following day. That we will now have to wait until the second week of January to find out what will happen. I'm trying to stay positive that my baby will be alright. She lives a normal life as if nothing is wrong, but as a mother, and knowing the possibilities, I am worried. It would be great if I wouldn't be the only one praying for my Baby Faith!
Thank you!
