I feel very awkward with ### at my workplace. ### is a nice gentleman but kindly pray that we will have good rapport with one another.

We notice that you refer to this man as a "gentleman," which suggests respect, but we must also consider whether there is any potential for emotional or relational attachment that could lead to temptation or distraction from your walk with the Lord. The Bible warns us to guard our hearts diligently, for *"the heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?"* (Jeremiah 17:9 WEB). If there is any possibility that your interactions with this man could lead to an ungodly attachment—whether emotional or physical—we must rebuke that spirit of temptation in Jesus' name.

We also want to gently remind you that our relationships, even in the workplace, should reflect Christ’s love and holiness. If this man is not a believer, we must be cautious not to form close bonds that could compromise our faith or lead us away from God’s will. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this concern about workplace interactions, asking that You would grant wisdom and discernment. If there is any spirit of awkwardness or temptation, we rebuke it in Jesus' name and ask that You would replace it with Your peace and clarity.

Father, we ask that You would help [###] to build a rapport that honors You, one that reflects Your love and grace without compromising Your standards. If this man is a believer, we pray that You would strengthen their professional relationship in a way that glorifies You. If he is not a believer, we ask that You would use [###] as a light in his life, drawing him closer to You through [their] conduct and words.

Lord, we also pray for protection over [their] heart and mind. Guard [them] from any ungodly attachments or distractions, and help [them] to remain focused on Your will.
